Position Summary

We are seeking a Director, Social Media to join our growing team. The Director, Social Media will manage a team to drive all U.S. SHEIN social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest. The Director of Social Media will find creative ways to activate on social and parter with Content, Brand PR, Partnerships, Campus and Influencer teams to continue to grow SHEIN’s online presence. This team is the company’s resource for pop culture, trends, and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 8+ organic social team members
  • Source new emerging social platforms and foster new innovative ideas
  • Ensure timely response to comments across all social accounts for better engagement
  • Work closely with PR team to respond to negative comments and in crisis situations
  • Continue to grow TikTok and Instagram followers
  • Partner with influencer agencies on various campaigns
  • Develop strategies to acquire a new customer demographic (Millennials and Gen Z)
  • Create and manage U.S. social media budget

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 7+ years of consumer brand experience/relevant agency expertise

    The Fine Print

    Role Overview:

    The Senior Manager of Influencer Marketing & Social Media is directly responsible for leading the brand’s influencer and social media strategy.     • Manage the scheduling and publishing of social content across all platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Amazon, and other emerging channels.
    •  Help develop and launch new social media platforms; manage ongoing channel operations and provide strategic input to further advance brand goals.
    • Work closely with the E-commerce Marketing Designer in maintaining the monthly content calendar, brainstorming new content ideas, and looking for new social and digital marketing opportunities to build brand awareness, increase customer engagement, and drive traffic to our Amazon products.
    • Assist in the development, management, and growth of our influencer/creator partnership programs. Research potential collaborators, build relationships, and maintain correspondence.
    • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social platforms. Engage with followers to drive positive customer engagement and establish brand connections.
    • Provide social and digital marketing performance analysis, reports, and recommendations to improve customer engagement.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
    • 1-2+ years of experience in social media or digital marketing at a DTC business or agency 
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices (paid and organic)
    • Experience creating content including designing, editing, and shooting short-form content for social platforms
    •  Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in analyzing data with the keen ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and recommendations
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with special attention to detail to effectively communicate with business stakeholders, content creators, and social audiences

    Overview:
    We are currently casting for the role of “Jon, Accused” for episode 3402 of the hit true-crime series “Snapped,” airing on the Oxygen network. This episode will involve recreations of intense crime scenes without scripted audio. Applicants must be comfortable with depicting violent scenes, including the use of props to simulate violent actions.

    Role Description:

    • Character Name: Jon, Accused
    • Gender: Male
    • Ethnicity: White
    • Age Range: Late 20’s to early 30’s
    • Physical Appearance: Brown buzz cut, short facial hair
    • Key Scene: Breaks down a bedroom door with a bat, attacks another character (Thomas), and hits him with the bat. Scenes will involve scripted violence and murder content. The role also requires handling a prop gun and being comfortable around fake blood.
    • Lookalike: Must closely resemble the attached photo (Note: Photo reference will be provided upon application receipt).

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Participate in rehearsals as scheduled by the director and production team.
    • Portray the character of Jon with authenticity, adhering to the director’s guidance for physical and emotional portrayal.

    • Work closely with the makeup and special effects team for scenes involving fake blood.
