We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager to define and drive our multi-brand, digital content marketing strategy that support our business objectives for brand awareness and DTC growth for the Dorel Juvenile brands. This role will also plan and execute social media marketing for our Mainline brands including Safety 1st, Cosco Kids and Monbebe. In this role you’re strategize and execute content programs for care givers of children (mainly parents) and those who give baby gear as gifts. Baby gear is confusing and sometimes an intimidating space. Our brands want to help care givers with the right solutions for their needs across the right mix of channels, platforms, and formats.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will have experience in strategizing, planning, and executing digital content marketing programs across social media and web platforms, as well as playing active role in creating content or partnering with others to do so. The right candidate will define opportunities and then create and deliver content that ranks in search, drive conversation, and compel shopping actions for our brands. Responsibilities

• Across brands define content marketing opportunities for each of our brands and categories, creating a common ‘toolbox’ of content strategy + tactics to be leveraged in unique ways by each brand across blog, audio, social and other mediums

• Follow brand guidelines to plan and execute content that aims to inspire, inform, and entertain our audience – and drive conversation, shares and shopper traffic

• Pitch and execute content ideas to brand and channel marketing colleagues

• Adopt the brand voice when responding to consumers

• Schedule and publish daily social media content across channels using social media management tools such as Sprinklr and Bazaarvoice/Curalate

• Assist with crafting and executing annual, quarterly and monthly plans with brand and retail marketing teams

• Working alongside the Social Media Specialist, internal brand partners, and external agencies, manage influencer lists and campaigns

• Build influencer lists and assist with management of day-to-day influencer campaigns

• Play a role in identifying and securing partnerships with like-minded brands for co-branded promotion

• Keep a pulse on trending topics, competitor and like-minded brand content, and industry news to inform our content marketing strategy and react quickly

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as brand managers, creative, and DTC teams as well as external agencies

Education, Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree with preferred major or background in Marketing, Advertising, Visual Arts, Writing, Psychology

• 5+ years experience in social, search and/or digital content marketing

• Organized and creative with a strong desire to continue learning

• Understanding of SEO, content, and social media marketing – and how it contributes to overarching business goals

• Experience with social platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, and others

• Experience with content planning and publishing platforms – blog, video, etc.

• Digital graphic design and copywriting preferred

Complex Networks is looking for a Manager, Content Strategy and Special Projects responsible for assisting with strategizing for all content products under the purview of Complex Networks’ SVP of Content Strategy. Reporting directly to the SVP, duties will include ideating and executing strategy around Complex Networks video programming, as well as special projects that fall under the scope of the editorial, video and social departments. You Will

Content Strategy

  • Work alongside Editorial Creative Director on concept and artistic idea generation for brand moments like Covers, Volume, and larger features. Consider and manage overall content strategy, in consultation with editorial/social/video leads as well as the centralized art/design team.
  • Provide strategic insight and input around tentpole brand projects like ComplexLand, ComplexCon, Pro-Am, and others to ensure alignment with brand tone and voice.
  • Help conceptualize, top-edit scripts, and see through execution for Style-focused vertical video working with the Jr Social Producer of Style & Sneakers and the two Style staff writers.
  • Work with the SVP of Content Strategy and other content stakeholders to help amplify special content moments.
  • Work both with internal Complex content teams and interdepartmentally across BuzzFeed Inc. to identify and develop opportunities including, but not limited to, press moments, products, and rollout strategies that amplify Complex’s editorial, video, and social content and projects
  • Help develop IRL activations around Complex programming that take place during tent-pole events in the industry (Art Basel, Complex Con, Grammy’s, Superbowl, NBA All-Star, etc.)

Special Projects Oversight and Production

  • Oversee and manage creative production and budgets of Complex editorial special projects like Digital Covers, Complex Volume, and larger feature shoots.
  • Work closely with the BuzzFeed production, talent, legal, and finance teams for logistic and administrative needs and support.
  • Book, contract, and own relationships with photographers and external creative contractors for projects as needed.
  • Effectively translate and communicate creative and artistic direction to teams across functions and departments

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Manager, Digital Content Producer for brand.com for a reputable beauty company. This role is temporary starting ASAP lasting until end of January 2024 with the ability to extend based on performance and the business needs of the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Management: Spearhead creation and implementation of new digital content creation for highly visible editorial and product content for NA sites working seamlessly with senior brand stakeholders and partners.
  • Maintain and update content for NA sites on an ongoing basis, collaborating closely with Digital Marketing and Creative partners for new launches and programs.
  • Oversee new product launch process and setup ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all relevant ecommerce and brand content working with internal stakeholders.
  • Create and communicate creative and technical requirements to appropriate internal and external resources.
  • Proof and review of all creative deliverables to ensure functional specifications and requirements are met prior to release for site development.
  • Manage product imagery process with creative operations working within stringent deadlines; oversee the subsequent organization and upload of imagery maintaining organization within image management platform.
  • Maintain and oversee internal digital creative delivery and launch calendar.
  • Diligently track and monitor live site content ensuring quality, standards and optimization guidelines are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-6 years digital production, creative services or content management experiences
  • Minimum 3 years high volume, high velocity digital content experience
  • Extremely detail oriented and quality assurance focused.
  • Experience with online project management and enterprise collaboration tools
  • Strong ability to independently prioritize and manage day-to-day requests and needs.
  • Working knowledge and experience with website terminologies and best practices
  • In depth experience and knowledge of content management systems and digital asset management platforms
  • Understanding of creative assets and terminologies and tools; Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong ability to effectively and professionally communicate across various levels of the organization (written and verbal) including engineering resources, features teams, creative designers, ecommerce counterparts, and senior management.
