Assistant Video Producer, UCAN AV Studio

Seeking an individual who will support our clients’ Creative Content Managers on the AV Studio team (specifically for US/CANADA markets). Key responsibilities include being able to ensure AV creative content assets are QC’d, delivered on time for maximum impact, and supporting the overall mechanics of executing shoots and delivery of content to all internal partners. Being a passionate and excited storyteller, being hyper organized, and being collaborative are critical to the success of this position.

Ideal Candidate.

This person is someone who has the ambition of being a producer and/or editor and can multitask well. Someone who is able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively against deadlines in a high volume environment with grace and patience. The candidate may have a history of working at a large agency or within an internal creative department at a studio (i.e. Disney’s Hive or Uni’s Inside Job). At their core, they understand project management and have an appreciation for and a passion for creativity, and most importantly for FILM. They enjoy logistics, planning, and creation relatively equally – they are excited by all aspects of the job, not just the shiny fun/glamorous parts.

The candidate is someone who is detail-oriented and able to catch small mistakes naturally: misspelling, poorly formatted documents, as well as technical errors with video (i.e dropped frames, wrong color, missing fades, wrong slate, wrong frame rate, wrong resolution etc).

This person is tech-savvy when it comes to post production workflows and software, while also

understanding the basics of production gear.

Qualifications:

This person has 3 – 4 years experience working across TV or Films in a marketing, publicity creative or production capacity. This person LOVES film, always seeks ancillary show content – searching for and scouring the internet for more. Creative content, talent interviews, everything they can get their hands on when it comes to the shows they love and watch. They are excited for the opportunity to work in a service-oriented role but have ambitions for creative excellence within a marketing or publicity capacity.

Who We Seek:

We are looking for a talented Freelance Producer with deep Discord knowledge to support a heritage fashion brand who recently launched a server for a community of aspiring and practicing musicians. Our APs are vital to our producing team of Senior and Executive producers, supporting on the day-to-day of a project from start to finish, and leading distinct work streams within our largest and most complex campaigns, platforms, and initiatives.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working on client facing projects, budget and project management efforts, with an emphasis on knowledge of Discord and virtual events.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with Senior Strategist and Community Manager in the on-going management of client’s Discord Server
  • Traffic bi-weekly reporting on community activity to our clients
  • Support brand’s regional marketing teams with activations happening within the Discord Server
  • Scheduling, maintaining and facilitating rehearsal windows, allowing regions to practice “going live” with video or voice channels for brand activations
  • Maintain FAQ documentation and learnings for activating regions
  • Support the quarterly re-publication of Documentation Playbook, sharing learnings with regions

Job Summary

Who You Are:

As the Assistant Web Producer, you are responsible for supporting the web production team in updating and maintaining the e-commerce and content websites related to the U.S. and global businesses. You are excited to learn and grow your e-commerce skills with a small but mighty team to enhance the Michael Kors e-commerce experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help manage day-to-day efforts to ensure smooth and efficient website refreshes including promotion and campaign updates
  • Assist in trafficking creative assets and code changes
  • Collaborating on new site initiatives across all e-commerce and content properties
  • Assist in management of cross-team projects and content publishing calendars
  • Facilitate cross functional communication around all production activities
  • Update Global Store Locator and associated processes
  • Collaborate with Site Merchants on all project preparation and all site updates
  • Assist with web production process definition, optimization, and implementation
  • Be a client advocate for internal business partners and external clients to ensure the development of best-in-class web and mobile services as well as the business processes to create outstanding client experiences
  • Assist with the requirements definition, specifications, vendor selections, design, development, and timelines for key initiatives
  • Help to manage key tools and processes such as content management and image hosting
  • Liaise with Creative Services team to manage delivery of all website assets and copy
  • Work with IT/Development teams on requirement gathering, issue logging and tracking, and ongoing maintenance of all global e-commerce websites
  • Assist with the project management of key initiatives as needed

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years of relevant experience (inclusive of internship experience)
  • HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Experience with CMS
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • A highly motivated and self-starter approach
  • Strong attention to detail

We’d Love to See:

  • Experience with WordPress, Magento, Adobe Scene 7
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of Responsive Design
  • Experience with A/B Testing tools such as Dynamic Yield, Adobe Target, Monetate
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Receipt of the COVID-19 vaccine is a requirement for this position, subject to applicable exemptions
