STV Creative (Commercial) is looking for an organised, dedicated and passionate Junior Creative Producer to join our award-winning team. This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Production Team, working alongside highly skilled creative, production and marketing professionals in an incredibly fast paced, creative commercial business.
What you’ll do:
· Work as part of a small but nimble production team, collaborating with our Creative, Design and Sales Teams to deliver campaigns for external advertisers.
· Produce TV commercials at various budget levels across motion graphics, animation and small-scale live action formats.
· Champion creativity and work closely with Creatives and Designers to develop stand-out creative campaigns that get results.
· Create and manage production budgets and schedules, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to budget.
· Commission and oversee external animators, graphic designers, editors and production crew.
· Develop relationships with STV Commercial clients and understand their objectives to ensure a positive customer experience.
· Ensure content produced answers the client brief and is compliant with legal & regulatory requirements.
· Provide production support to Producers and Lead Producer on larger scale jobs as and when required.
· Develop a comprehensive understanding of STV’s products and services in order to strategically champion STV and STV Creative.
· Embrace new technologies/ creative techniques to the benefit of the team and the work we deliver.
· Assist in any other aspects of the work of the Company as reasonably required.
What you’ll need:
· Experience in a similar role in a production company or advertising agency environment.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues and an ability to judge and adapt to each situation effectively.
· Experience of pre-production/ production/ post-production processes, including craft roles, facility/ technical requirements, health and safety legislation.
· Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and work across multiple projects simultaneously.
· Excellent organisational skills with a highly developed attention to detail and accuracy, including written presentation skills.
· Demonstrable passion for television, advertising and marketing, and an understanding of changing media landscape and broadcast and digital platforms.
· Excellent PC and MAC skills.
· An understanding of BCAP, CAP and Ofcom Codes.
· Full, clean driver’s licence.
