Casting Kids with Special Talents for Walmart Weekend Academy Campaign

A new commercial photo and video campaign is seeking talented and expressive kids ages 9–12 for an exciting shoot with Walmart Weekend Academy. This project highlights individuality, special skills, and vibrant personalities through both still photography and video. Talent must be based in the Los Angeles area and available for an in-person callback.

Job Responsibilities

• Showcase unique talents or hobbies in front of the camera for video and photo assets

• Deliver confident, natural performances on camera, including speaking roles

• Attend fitting and shoot date (one shoot day expected)

Requirements

• Boys and girls, ages 9–12

• Must have an authentic and impressive skill or special talent (e.g., skating, singing, dancing, musical instruments, podcasting, fashion design, sports, beat poetry, balloon art, tech hobbies, and more)

• Must be confident speaking and moving on camera

• Open to all ethnicities, body types, abilities, and hair types

• Unique features like cool hair, freckles, or gap teeth are welcomed

• Looking for 1–2 Spanish-speaking kids (please note in submission)

• LA locals only (or clearly state if working as a local)

• Clothing sample sizes range from 7–16

Compensation

• Session: $500 + 20% (includes 4-hour fitting)

• Guaranteed Usage: $1,500 + 20%

• Usage covers stills and video across digital media (web, social, OTT), in-store signage, and online content
