Job Description
A major insurance commercial is casting advanced to professional figure skaters and experienced ice hockey players for a high-energy shoot in New York City. This paid opportunity is open to SAG-AFTRA and non-union talent who can perform confidently on ice, take direction quickly, and deliver authentic athletic action on camera. Some roles may include stunt-style falls and dynamic skating sequences.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform advanced figure skating or ice hockey action on camera

• Follow direction from the director and stunt/sports coordinators

• Execute multiple takes with consistent speed, form, and timing

• Hockey players may perform controlled falls or on-ice action as scripted

• Attend a fitting and be available for callbacks as needed

Requirements

• Must be a NYC local hire

• Open to SAG-AFTRA and non-union talent

• Figure Skaters: all genders and ethnicities; must have advanced figure skating experience

• Ice Hockey Players: experienced players; must have advanced hockey skills

• Comfortable skating at a professional level in a filmed environment

• Must be available for scheduled shoot days, fitting, and callback

Compensation

• SAG-AFTRA session: $822.30 per session

• Additional residuals possible if featured in the final cut as an on-camera principal

NYC Blind Taste Test Participants Needed for On-Camera Food Experiment (Ages 18–99)

Job Description
A non-union on-camera project is seeking real people in the NYC area to take part in a fun blind taste test experiment. If you love food and are curious about the “science” of flavor, this is a great paid opportunity—no acting or modeling experience required. Open to all backgrounds.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in a blind taste test on camera in a friendly, guided setting

• Share natural, honest reactions and feedback while tasting

• Follow simple producer direction throughout the session

Requirements

• Ages 18–99

• Based in the NYC area and able to attend an in-person session

• No acting/modeling experience needed

• Comfortable being filmed during a taste test experiment

Compensation

• $750 for a 2–4 hour taste test session

• $750 usage fee if featured in the final cut

• Usage: 1 year worldwide across internet/new media (including social, streaming/OTT/CTV, and paid media)

• Renewal option may be available for an additional year (with an increase)

• Note: The experiment may use AI-based expression tracking to analyze emotions for results (not for model training)

Real Spectrum Customers – Commercial Campaign

Job Description
A non-union commercial campaign is seeking real Spectrum customers to share their genuine experiences with Spectrum Internet, Mobile/Cellular, and/or Spectrum TV. This project is looking for everyday users who can authentically speak about their service in a natural, conversational way. Both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking customers are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Share honest experiences as a real Spectrum customer on camera

• Participate in interview-style and lifestyle-style filming

• Follow direction while still delivering natural, unscripted responses

• Be available for travel to Los Angeles for the shoot

• Engage comfortably on camera in both conversational and testimonial moments

Requirements

• Must be a current Spectrum customer (Internet, Mobile/Cellular, and/or TV)

• English-speaking or Spanish-speaking

• Must live in one of the following regions:

  • New York

  • New Jersey

  • Connecticut/Tri-State area

  • Chicago

  • North Carolina

  • Ohio

• Comfortable being filmed and sharing real experiences

• Must be available for travel during the filming window

Compensation

• $1,600 for shoot + travel days

• Travel provided: business-class flights, ground transportation, hotel

• Per diem provided for food

• If featured as a principal in final campaign:

  • Additional $2,000 + 20% agency fee (if applicable)

• Pre-negotiated optional second-year usage:

  • $2,200 + 20% agency fee (if applicable)
