A SAG feature film is casting young background actors to appear in scenes for the upcoming project Deep Cuts filming in the San Francisco and Berkeley area. Casting directors are seeking performers who can portray authentic young adults in a period-style setting, especially those who own cars from the 1990s to early 2000s. Talent will help create realistic street and lifestyle scenes that match the film’s time period.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray background characters in a feature film production
  • Use your personal vehicle in scenes when required
  • Follow direction from the production team during filming
  • Maintain natural background performance for continuity in scenes

Requirements

  • Ages 18–30 (must be over 18)
  • All ethnicities are encouraged to apply
  • Must have a car from the 1990s to early 2000s (preferred)
  • Vehicles should not be red or bright colors
  • Comfortable performing background work on a film set
  • Actors without cars may still apply if they match the look

Compensation

  • SAG background rate
  • Additional car bump if your vehicle is used in filming
