Role Focus:
The Social Media and Influencer Executive will focus on our lifestyle client’s objectives across social media and influencer marketing. Supporting the digital team to ensure that all content aligns with the brand strategy and vision, as well as platform best practices. The ideal candidate should be proactive, solutions-orientated, adaptable to change, strategic, data-driven, technologically savvy and have an expansive knowledge of and interest in the ever-changing influencer marketing and social media landscapes. Candidate will also have a strong eye for compelling creative and trends.
Responsibilities:
- Copywriting for Instagram feed + stories across clients.
- Scheduling all content across channels and managing content calendars.
- Managing workflow of the Social Media Apprentice.
- Feed into and execute strategies set by Social Media Manager.
- Tracking performance of all accounts using social insights and analysing channels on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Developing influencer target lists for gifting activations.
- Strategising creative mailer campaigns for influencer gifting.
- Reaching out to creators/influencers and sourcing new talent agencies to work with.
- Shoot and edit content when required.
- Attend events and activations across clients for real-time social coverage.
- Tracking competitors and reporting on best performing activity, and how they are utilising their channels.
- Support wider teams on ad hoc social media and influencer tasks when required.
The person:
- 1-2 years’ experience in social media and influencer marketing (brand or agency)
- Obsessed with TikTok and Instagram, with knowledge of all additional platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Creative and a strong eye for design – expert in Canva, with Photoshop, InDesign + Illustrator experience a bonus.
- Content creating capabilities on iPhone and SLR/4k camera, shooting stills + video.
- Experience in video editing for Reels/TikTok.
- Experience in social media insights and analytics – pushing for change based on metrics.
- Experience in influencer gifting and events.
- Creative copywriting with an ability to maintain a strong, authoritative tone of voice.
- Organised and loves a process – will be responsible for all asset and content calendar management.
- Attention to detail is key.
- Innovative and forward thinking – always on top of the latest trends on social. Proactively pushing for change to keep us ahead of the trends.
- Proficient in Excel and Google Docs.
- Strong time management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and hit deadlines.
- A positive attitude and an obsession with social media – willing to learn and develop within the role.
