Rate: $450 for a 10-hour day
Job Details: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Stage Manager to join our production team for the live broadcast of the college football game between Grambling State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the event and maintaining effective communication between various departments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the director, producers, and other crew members to ensure all elements of the production run smoothly.
- Manage the stage and ensure that all equipment, props, and sets are in the correct position and ready for use.
- Oversee the scheduling of rehearsals and coordinate with talent and crew members to ensure everyone is on set at the required times.
- Facilitate effective communication between different departments, such as lighting, sound, and camera crews, to ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Act as a liaison between the production team and any external parties, such as stadium staff or security personnel.
- Maintain a detailed log of the production schedule, noting any changes or delays.
- Be prepared to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the live broadcast, such as technical difficulties or last-minute changes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Stage Manager in live event production, preferably in a sports broadcasting environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and think quickly on your feet.
- Familiarity with the specific needs and challenges of live broadcasts.
Compensation: The selected Stage Manager will receive a rate of $450 for a 10-hour workday. Meals will be provided during the production.
