Job Description
Boston Casting is seeking athletes ages 18–32 for a non-union photo and video shoot for a major sports network in Bristol, Connecticut. The production is looking for talent with intermediate to advanced experience in a variety of sports who can confidently demonstrate their athletic skills on camera. Athletes from football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, hockey, volleyball, MMA/boxing, golf, tennis, track & field, and gymnastics backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in a professional sports network photo and video shoot.
- Perform athletic movements and skills related to your sport.
- Follow direction from the production and creative teams.
- Demonstrate authentic intermediate or advanced athletic ability on camera.
Requirements
- Ages 18–32.
- Must have intermediate or advanced experience in at least one listed sport.
- Seeking football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, hockey, volleyball, MMA/boxing, golf, tennis, track & field, and gymnastics athletes.
- Submit video footage demonstrating your sport, such as practice footage or phone video.
- Non-union talent.

Utility II – Little League Baseball Regional
Job Description
ESPN is seeking an experienced Utility II crew member to support technical operations for the Little League Baseball Regional at Giamatti Field in Bristol, Connecticut. This live sports production role will assist with the setup, execution, and teardown of remote television broadcasts. The Utility II will handle broadcast equipment, manage cabling, support camera operators, and assist technical departments throughout the production.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist technical operations with remote broadcast setup, execution, and teardown
- Load and unload broadcast equipment from production trucks
- Help lay out and pick up broadcast cabling
- Pull and coil cables for camera operators
- Carry cameras, batteries, and other production equipment as needed
- Assist scenic and lighting departments when required
- Climb ladders and work overhead on scaffolding or rooftops when necessary
- Maintain organized and properly wrapped cable throughout production
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must live within 100 miles of Bristol, Connecticut
- Minimum of 7 shows worked as a regional-level utility in live remote productions
- Operational familiarity with TV cameras, cables, monitors, and related broadcast equipment
- Skilled in over/under cable wrapping and maintaining tidy cable coils
- Comfortable performing physically demanding broadcast production duties
- Firsthand knowledge of venue production areas preferred

Runner II – Little League Baseball Regional
Job Description
ESPN is seeking an experienced Runner II to support operations and production for the Little League Baseball Regional at Giamatti Field in Bristol, Connecticut. Role Details:
CBS Sports HQ is looking for a Digital Line Producer (DLP) to oversee and produce live and live-to-tape programming on our 24/7 Digital Network. The DLP plays a key role in programming as they work closely with Master Control, Producers and Graphics/Video Teams throughout each shift.
Your-Day-to-Day:
- Work with Producers to mirror rundowns
- Clip topics and segments and writing title and descriptions
- Work with Master Control to bring us on air during planned and Breaking News segments
- Make editorial decisions on Programming during live-to-tape hours
Qualifications:
- Must be a massive sports fan and understand the terms and verbiage of all sports!
- 1+ years work experience preferred in helping to create and build show rundowns in cable, broadcast or digital environment.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and under tight deadlines
- Writing background preferred
Schedule:
- Must be available to work nights and weekends
- Must have reliable mode of transportation to and from work
- Must be available to work 5 nights a week in office

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 – 60,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
