The Role:

Moonbug Entertainment Limited is looking for a full-time Senior Director, Production to join the growing production team in London. This position will play a significant role in carrying on the global success seen in our brands Morphle, Gecko, Arpo and Supa Strikas.

The successful candidate will lead the development and growth of a portfolio of brands with the goal of developing global brands with true franchise potential.

This is a leadership role requiring vision, inspiration and brilliant execution. The appointee needs to have a deep expertise in production who can juggle multiple responsibilities, and has managed production teams and outsourced partners.

In this position, you will manage the production of kids’ content across several projects, pipelines and formats. We are looking for someone with a background in producing animated CGI series, and other content formats and who is hoping to join an exciting company within the world of kids’ media. The role will involve taking an overview and providing management support for several of our show producers based in London & LA, while implementing best practices and processes. It is crucial that you are highly organized and able to work independently across multiple projects, so good time management and prioritization will be expected.

In this position, you will be working closely with the creative team, senior producers, internal production teams and the studios responsible for producing the content. We work with studios from all over the world and collaborate with our team in LA, so flexibility and openness to coordinate with different time zones is a must.

The candidate will be a committed and adaptable individual with excellent interpersonal skills. You must excel at communicating with both internal teams and external clients, while also being able to multitask and manage with integrity and a smile.

This role will lead a group of 3-4 senior producers and their teams, to make sure all content production remains on schedule, within budget, on spec, and abides by the creative vision and agreed-upon quality targets/thresholds, whilst communicating progress to wider stakeholders in the company.

This role will be responsible for ensuring that all content related to their brands is delivered according to business objectives. The role will work with production heads in Music, Audio (podcasts) and Localization departments to ensure targets are achieved. This role will work closely with the Brand GM(s) to ensure content hits business objectives.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience within animation and content production
  • Must have significant animation both short form and long form.
  • Podcast and other content format experience is also desirable
  • Excellent client-facing ability
  • Proven leader of teams and developer of people
  • A natural coach and empathetic style
  • A problem solver and able to foresee issues and plan accordingly
  • Extremely organized, motivated, adaptable, diverse skillset, and personable.
  • Highly collaborative, resourceful, curious with great calm and a good sense of humour
