Job Description

The West Coast Entertainment HR team at NBCUniversal is looking for a highly collaborative, results-driven, and innovative HR Manager.

We support the NBCUniversal Entertainment Group portfolio, which consists of the premier NBC Broadcast Network, and some of the top cable brands in the industry: USA Network, Bravo, E!, SYFY, Oxygen & Universal Kids.

In this role, you will be a key member of the Entertainment Group HR team. You will provide day to day HR support for the Original Programming teams, specifically our Scripted, Unscripted, Casting, and Production Operations teams. You will also be the primary HR lead for the west-coast based Creative Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with dynamic client groups and drive the Entertainment business forward.

Responsibilities

  • Provide broad HR support for the Creative Marketing and Original Programming (Scripted, Unscripted, Casting, and Production Operations) groups.
  • Operate as a key HR business partner, particularly for our West Coast-based employees, providing HR guidance/expertise while demonstrating deep understanding of HR best practices and business operations.
  • Lead and drive key HR initiatives and projects including: performance management, organization planning, compensation planning, and learning and development.
  • Provide coaching, counsel, and direction to client groups in areas including conflict resolution, performance management, employee relations, professional development, and compensation.
  • Liaise effectively with internal HR partners, including Legal, Finance, Labor Relations, and HR Operations to efficiently manage and resolve employee issues.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition and Internship/Page Program teams to successfully identify and hire high-caliber new talent.

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Labor Relations or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experiences

Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000; bonus eligible

A new production is assembling a skilled and reliable film crew across multiple cities for upcoming shoots. Roles are open for Production Assistants, Camera Operators with drone experience, and Audio Technicians. This is a great opportunity to join a professional team and contribute to a dynamic, creative set environment. Applicants must indicate the city they’re applying for: Cape Coral (FL), St. Augustine (FL), Orange Beach (AL), or Astoria (OR).

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the production team to execute shoot-day operations

  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of gear, locations, and production zones

  • Operate cameras or drones to capture high-quality footage (Cam Ops)

  • Record clean, crisp audio on set using professional equipment (Audio Techs)

  • Maintain a professional, on-time presence throughout production days

Requirements

  • Previous on-set experience in your applied role

  • Ability to travel to one of the listed production cities

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Compensation

  • Production Assistant: $220/12
