Job Description

KNSD & KUAN, the NBC & Telemundo television station duopoly in San Diego is looking for a highly creative commercial sales producer to develop commercials, integrations, and multi-platform special projects. You must possess excellent interpersonal skills and should be able to work flexible hours. If you love coming up with creative ideas, selling them and delivering on tight deadlines; if you are competitive and want to be a driving force as a key player on the best production team in the market, this position is for you!

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work with clients to develop concepts, write scripts and communicate those ideas clearly, often with the addition of storyboards.
  • Shoot, edit and composite music, VO, and graphics or animations as needed.
  • Work efficiently on multiple projects while meeting all deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot and address any issues that occur on set/in the field (camera, lighting, audio)
  • Maintain an organized production van including all equipment.
  • Proactively provide suggestions for equipment upgrades and technical advancements.
  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Must be willing to work in San Diego, CA and at KNSD/KUAN station.
  • Strong broadcast production skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Adobe CC (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition).
  • Working knowledge of Cinema 4D.
  • Experience with Canon C300, C300 Mk11, EOS R cameras and lenses.
  • Minimum 2 years of television experience producing content.
  • Strong design and graphic animation skills required.
  • Strong script writing skills and creative vision.
  • Familiar with various lights (Astra lite panels, Kino flos, Arri light kits).
  • Competent with wireless mics, booms.
  • Experience with Dana Dolly, gimbals, portable jib a plus.

NBC6 is looking for an Associate Producer for South Florida Live. In this Lifestyle show, you will be an integral part of covering lifestyle news that highlights our South Florida events, culture and community related stories.

Responsibilities:

• Working with Executive Producer and Producers to produce daily South Florida Live program

• Assisting with the coordination of elements for daily lifestyle program

• Writing copy for daily segments

• Being resourceful and creative in helping to deliver the program’s message, including use of clips and graphics

• Finding background information on a wide range of lifestyle and community news stories using a variety of sources such as the internet, newspapers and magazines

• Researching segment ideas and segment information as directed

• Assisting in the booking of guests

• Assisting producers with story production and pre-interviews

• Creating graphics & triggering these elements daily in the control room

• Being part of a collaborative team that supports production of other lifestyle and community programming

• Supporting production of assets to be used across all platforms and channels

• Supporting News in times of major breaking news

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism; or an equivalent degree

• At least 2 years of television production experience

• Experience with independently developing own story ideas, conducting research, and planning show segments

• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including possible weekends

• Must be able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift with little or no notice, if needed

The Director, Marketing Strategy, Planning & Analysis (MSP&A) will be an integral leader in the MSP&A team, helping shape strategy and planning for the marketing organization. The MSP&A team is responsible for developing short and long-term business KPIs through best-in-class strategies, planning and data analysis. This role requires the ability to align and collaborate with key stakeholder groups and influence senior management with data-driven insights and narratives, with a focus on improving title campaign efforts. The Director will report to the Vice President, MSP&A.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide strategy and analytics support for Peacock’s Title Marketing organization, driving continuous improvement of marketing efforts
  • Translate target audience insights into effective campaign strategies, including channel mix and messaging tactics, in partnership with Peacock Consumer Insights
  • Recommend prioritization across upcoming title and slate opportunities, optimizing resourcing to the highest potential acquisition opportunities
  • Collaborate with Peacock Decision Sciences on further development of key marketing success metrics with a focus on marketing incrementality
  • Conduct deep dive analyses aimed at improving campaign efforts
  • Develop and manage retrospective campaign reporting

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in industries such as management consulting, corporate business strategy, investment banking, or direct experience working for a streaming company or studio

Desired Characteristics:

  • A strong understanding of the content streaming landscape and current business models
  • Direct experience using data to inform business strategy
  • Demonstrated excellent business acumen and thought leadership, with the ability to form judgements, and drive actionable recommendations
  • Direct to consumer marketing experience a plus, ideally in the entertainment industry
  • MBA preferred, but not required
  • Proven leader and manager, with experience hiring, retaining, and motivating best-in-class talent of all experience levels.
  • Ideal candidates are unafraid to advocate for big ideas that drive innovation, and also able to put big ideas in business context
  • Exceptional collaborator with proven ability to work effectively across all parts of the organization. Leads the team to operate in the same way.
  • Successfully operate within a fast-paced, highly matrixed work environment with multiple stakeholders and able to oversee multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
  • Highly effective communicator, both written and verbal. Excellent problem-solving skills

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary Range: $130,000 – $175,000 (Bonus & LTI eligible)
