A hit TV series is hiring real medics for featured background work across multiple filming days. Casting is seeking male and female medics of all ethnicities with a clean, professional look (short hair; clean-shaven; mustache ok). This is a great paid opportunity for working medics who can bring authentic presence on camera, follow direction, and commit to the full multi-day schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear on camera as a real medic in featured background scenes.

• Follow direction for blocking, movement, and continuity during multiple setups.

• Maintain a professional, camera-ready appearance throughout long shoot days.

• Wear medic uniform/gear as needed and keep continuity between takes.

• Provide accurate measurements for wardrobe and costume coordination.

Requirements

• Real medics only (male and female).

• All ethnicities encouraged to apply.

• Short hair preferred; clean-shaven; mustache ok.

• Must be local to Chicago, surrounding suburbs, or nearby border states to Illinois (local hire only).

• Must be available for all required filming days (multi-day commitment is mandatory).

Compensation

• $200 for 8 hours + $25 bump (per day).

Some shoot days take place outside during incident scenes (higher rate), while other days are inside the firehouse. If you’re local to Chicago or nearby and can work multiple days, this is a strong paid opportunity.

• Follow direction for movement, timing, and continuity during firehouse and incident setups.

• Maintain a professional demeanor and stay camera-ready throughout long shoot days.

• Wear firefighter uniform/gear as required and keep continuity between takes.

• Provide accurate measurements for wardrobe and costume coordination.

Requirements

• Real male firefighters only.

• Must be local to Chicago, surrounding suburbs, or nearby border states to Illinois (local hire only).

• Must have availability for multiple filming days (production prioritizes those who can work more dates).

• Must submit a recent color photo in firefighter uniform.

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with long shoot days and late wrap times.

Compensation

• $200 for 8 hours + $25 bump (higher-rate incident/outside days; details shared upon selection).

• $132 for 8 hours (firehouse/interior days).

• Time-and-a-half after 8 hours.

Featured Firefighter Role: Clean-Shaven Men with Short Hair (TV Series)

This is a paid, non-speaking featured role with a higher rate than standard background, and a wardrobe fitting is expected. If you’re local to Chicago or nearby and can bring confident, professional presence on camera, this is a great featured extra opportunity.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a featured firefighter on camera with believable movement and professional presence.

• Follow direction for blocking, timing, and continuity during takes and resets.

• Wear production-approved wardrobe and maintain continuity throughout filming.

• Remain attentive, camera-ready, and professional during long shoot days.

• Provide accurate sizing details for wardrobe and attend fitting if required.
