A new movie filming in Atlanta is seeking paid male and female extras to portray a variety of New York City character types. This casting call is ideal for background actors, aspiring performers, and entertainment professionals who can bring authentic personality and energy to busy street, neighborhood, and character-driven scenes. Roles include pedestrians, shop owners, dancers, hustlers, mobsters, and other NYC-inspired background characters.
Job Responsibilities
- Appear as a paid background extra in a feature film production
- Portray New York City character types in realistic movie scenes
- Follow direction from the production team while on set
- Be prepared for a full filming day, which may last 8 to 12 hours or longer
- Maintain professionalism, patience, and availability throughout the shoot day
Requirements
- Open to male and female talent
- Ages 18 to 60
- All ethnicities are welcome to apply
- Must be comfortable portraying NYC-inspired character types such as theatergoers, gang types, eccentric individuals, pedestrians, shop owners, boutique owners, hustlers, mobsters, dancers, and similar background roles
- Tattoos, piercings, and unique looks are welcome
- Must have open availability on the day of filming
- Must be able to work as a local hire in Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation
- Paid background extra role
- Rate: $100 for 8 hours
- Overtime paid after 8 hours
- Payment will be sent by check after filming
