Job Description
- Assist Project Managers in development of initial project scope, cost, and schedule baselines.
- Review and analyze project metrics, including but not limited to budget, schedule, scope, and quality
- This includes tracking actuals, adjusting projections, and analyzing/reporting variances
- Collaborate with Project Managers and finance partners on monthly cost reports, cash flows, and any other needed financial reporting.
- Regularly analyze all project cost variances at a portfolio level to ensure actual/forecasted spends are on track to meet annual targets. Proactively communicate changes in forecasted annual spending with finance partners for overall business strategic planning.
- Process and track invoices for projects. Ensure invoices are accurate and paid on-time. Analyze contractors’ invoicing trends vs projected and communicate discrepancies with Project Manager for further follow-up and action.
- Quality control directives and change orders for misalignment with contractor standard terms, scope gaps, and redundant scope. Track project change orders and analyze common causes (unforeseen conditions, code compliance, new scope, etc.) to drive future improvements in scope development across the portfolio.
- Ensure proper change management is followed throughout project lifecycles.
- Track and maintain project schedules in collaboration with Project Managers. Ensure schedules include progress measurement reporting.
- Prepare graphs, diagrams, and other reports to illustrate cost and schedule performance on projects and across portfolio.
- Identify potential project risks/opportunities and their impacts. Recommend strategies to mitigate and/or capitalize on each.
- Support RSP Sr. Manager with portfolio resource management by tracking and evaluating resource usage on projects across the portfolio.
- Track and evaluate common third-party resources used by RSP team and other division partners. Strategize with partners to balance contractor workload across the business.
- Analyze overall portfolio performance to develop lessons learned and drive improvements to future project development/execution and to project reporting tools/processes.
- Develop and maintain portfolio tools, processes, and resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance/Accounting, Business, or related field
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with project controls, project management, or project accounting in an engineering, construction, manufacturing, or related environment (themed entertainment industry preferred)
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
Other Requirements
- Requires knowledge of the principals of cost estimating, scheduling, finance, and contract administration
- Experience with financial management software (SAP preferred)
- Experience with project management software
- Must have strong project analyst skills and project controls experience
- Ability to accurately interpret contractual documents and contract modifications.
- Must have strong time and cost management skills, as well as strong quality management and procurement management skills
- Must possess strong communication management skills including proficient oral and written communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with wide variety of people with diverse background of all levels and disciplines
- Able to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project
Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000; bonus eligible

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Videographer/Editor position requires skills in a high-volume production environment specializing in the final storytelling of a project. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the filming and editing process for company video projects. This position requires a diverse knowledge of industry standard types of cameras and production equipment along with basic Avid editing skills. They will work closely with the Producers, Videographers and Editors on staff to ensure projects are completed on time and with the highest technical and aesthetic standards. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Minimum college or trade school experience in production or similar field..
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical field experience working in multiple aspects of film and video production.
- Color grading at intermediate level.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Thorough understanding of fishing, hunting, and other outdoor skills as required to best work with production team in outdoor recreation company.
- Strong work ethic. Outgoing personality with ability to interact within group of creative individuals in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Willingness to react with short notice to changes in daily routine.
- Willing to travel as required – often locations require extensive driving and multiple night stays with early and late hours.
- Strong communication skills – able to understand direction and make themselves understood when communicating objectives for accomplishing story lines or goals of a production.
- Thorough knowledge of Avid non-linear editing systems, specifically the Avid Media Composer or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of various codecs, containers and file types used in today’s media environment.
- Able to work within a team environment including in the field or studio and in the post process, editing and finishing.
- Able to lift and carry heavy equipment in variety of terrain and conditions from very hot to very cold.
- Good driving record, able to secure Missouri Operator’s License Class E.
- Good organizational skills: able to keep multiple projects balanced at any one time
- Strong video resume required. This resume should demonstrate samples from all of the areas mentioned above.
