Job Summary:
The Creative Studio Director has a creative background in environmental graphics, marketing, interior design and/or architecture. Leads this specialized studio focused on delivering creative excellence, innovation, and thought leadership in the built environment. Develops and manages creative leaders who drive meaningful visual storytelling and customer engagements through creative thinking, research, and application of new ideas. Engages clients in forward-thinking discussions, workshops, and experiences to solve strategic challenges within their organizations. Sets and implements studio strategic goals, initiatives, and policies. Responsible for creative studio profitability.
Essential Functions
- Serve as the creative experiential expert in design and fabrication, liaising across internal teams and external partners to bring big bold ideas to life.
- Participate in creative brainstorming and the ideation process alongside other creatives.
- Lead the environmental design aspects of assigned projects of various scales, including visioning, creative conception (moodboards), floorplans, renderings, and environmental graphics.
- Lead communications across internal and external teams, owning the responsibility of delivering on the creative concept while serving as the expert in technical realities.
- Manages and oversees creative team through performance monitoring, goal setting, budgets and professional development planning to ensure profitability and achievement of financial goals.
- Partners at a leadership level with strategic accounts consultants, partners, and influencers to inspire and delight our customers.
- Leads creative efforts for key projects and/or accounts by leading visioning and or discovery workshops with Creative Team.
- Oversee and audit all major projects to ensure we are delivering our best creative work that connects the brand with culture and place.
- Lead and assist in providing best in class creative proposal responses with both visual and written skills.
- Generates and presents new ideas, insights, and thought leadership at industry events and conferences.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Membership in an industry professional organization required.
- Ability to generate and present new ideas, insights, and thought leadership at industry events and conferences.
- You’re not just a Creative Director, but a designer/production artist who specializes in environmental, industrial, and architectural design.
- You excel at providing creative direction to other designers or outside vendors.
- You have an understanding of and experience in leading all aspects of the creative process.
- Exceptional communication skills with a reputation for presenting work and explaining complex technical ideas to internal and external constituents with ease.

Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required in one of the following fields: Environmental Graphics, Industrial Design, Scenic Design, Marketing, Interior Design Architecture, Industrial Design or similar training or experience.
- 10+ years’ experience at an agency or large scale corporation
- An online portfolio of your best work
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Project Management software and Collaboration Tools such as Miro.
- 3+ years’ experience and a proven track record of being a recognized leader and manager of people.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Videographer/Editor position requires skills in a high-volume production environment specializing in the final storytelling of a project. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the filming and editing process for company video projects. This position requires a diverse knowledge of industry standard types of cameras and production equipment along with basic Avid editing skills. They will work closely with the Producers, Videographers and Editors on staff to ensure projects are completed on time and with the highest technical and aesthetic standards. They are responsible for maintaining the company’s production assets and working with the department production calendar so that equipment is ready for each project.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support production staff with variety of projects using production gear including various models of cameras, lenses, tripods, and other gear related to shooting.
- Work with Production team to build sets for production needs.
- Assist with general duties.
- Maintaining production equipment before and after projects.
- Coordinate the tracking of all production assets.
- Assist with research and ordering of equipment.
- Support with reporting and tracking maintenance and repairs of production equipment.
- Ingest media into company’s archiving system and prepare media for Editors.
- Log footage and edit basic to intermediate level projects.
- Operate additional cameras as needed for production needs including live events.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Minimum college or trade school experience in production or similar field..
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical field experience working in multiple aspects of film and video production.
- Color grading at intermediate level.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Thorough understanding of fishing, hunting, and other outdoor skills as required to best work with production team in outdoor recreation company.
- Strong work ethic. Outgoing personality with ability to interact within group of creative individuals in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Willingness to react with short notice to changes in daily routine.
- Willing to travel as required – often locations require extensive driving and multiple night stays with early and late hours.
- Strong communication skills – able to understand direction and make themselves understood when communicating objectives for accomplishing story lines or goals of a production.
- Thorough knowledge of Avid non-linear editing systems, specifically the Avid Media Composer or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of various codecs, containers and file types used in today’s media environment.
- Able to work within a team environment including in the field or studio and in the post process, editing and finishing.
- Able to lift and carry heavy equipment in variety of terrain and conditions from very hot to very cold.
- Good driving record, able to secure Missouri Operator’s License Class E.
- Good organizational skills: able to keep multiple projects balanced at any one time
- Strong video resume required. This resume should demonstrate samples from all of the areas mentioned above.
