Job Description
A production is casting non-union background talent for two different scenes for the project “RJ Decker.” Talent of varying ages and experience levels is encouraged to apply. Selected performers will appear as extras and may be asked to arrive early and work a full day (potentially up to 12+ hours).

Job Responsibilities

• Portray background roles naturally and believably on camera.
• Follow on-set direction from production and background team.
• Arrive camera-ready, on time, and prepared for a long workday if booked.
• Provide your own wardrobe based on guidelines provided (and attend a fitting if required).
• Keep your availability up to date and confirm booking requests promptly if selected.

Requirements

• Non-union talent.
• Any gender, any ethnicity, ages 18+.
• Must be able to work as a local hire and report as instructed if booked.
• Must be able to provide your own wardrobe and accurate sizing information.
• Must be comfortable with early call times and long shoot days (up to 12+ hours).
• Specialty role (if applicable): Graffiti Students (Experienced Artists Only)
  • Must be able to showcase previous spray paint work (graffiti, murals, etc.).

Compensation Details

• Background rate: $96 / 8 hours, with time-and-a-half after 8 hours.
• Specialty role rate (Graffiti Students): $250 / 12 hours (as listed in the notice).

Basketball Spectators Needed for Game Scene (Adults 18+)

Job Description
A production is seeking adult basketball spectators to appear in a high-energy game-day crowd scene. This background acting casting opportunity is open to any gender and any ethnicity, ages 18+, for talent who can deliver natural reactions—cheering, clapping, and watching the action—while following direction across multiple takes. Some selected performers may also be placed as game-day roles like coaches or referees, depending on scene needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a basketball game spectator with natural crowd reactions on camera

• Follow direction for timing, energy, and resets across multiple takes

• Maintain continuity in wardrobe and positioning throughout the scene

• Be flexible if assigned a game-related role (coach/referee) if needed

• Must apply as an adult (not connected to a minor submission)

• Must be reliable, professional, and fully available if selected

• Must be able to provide own wardrobe as required or attend a fitting if scheduled

Kids and Family Basketball Spectators Needed for Game Scene (Kids 8–13 + Parents)

Job Description
A production is seeking kids and families to portray basketball spectators at a high school game. This family background acting opportunity is open to any gender and any ethnicity, looking for kids ages 8–13 and their parents/guardians to appear in crowd scenes with natural reactions. Talent should be comfortable working in a busy, high-energy environment and following direction for repeated takes.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray spectators in a basketball game crowd with natural reactions

• Follow on-set direction for cheering, clapping, and scene timing

• Maintain continuity across multiple takes and setups

• Provide own wardrobe as required or attend a fitting if scheduled

Requirements

• Kids ages 8–13 and their parents/guardians

• Any gender, any ethnicity

• Must be able to work as a local hire as required by production

• Each person must have a separate account and unique email address to be booked

• Must be reliable, professional, and fully available if selected
