Casting Call: Adults for Local Black Button Distillery Commercial

Job Description:
Two Sues Casting is seeking adult talent aged 21 to 90 years old for a series of short commercial scenes promoting Black Button Distillery. The production consists of three unique segments requiring specific roles. Filming will occur in Rochester, NY, and applicants must be local or able to work as local hires.

Scenes & Roles:

1. “Rekindling the Flame” (Bar Scene):
   • Roles: Man (40s) and Woman (40s).
   • Description: A familiar, flirtatious exchange between a dating/married couple sharing a bourbon at the bar.
2. “The Jazz Lesson” (Loft Apartment Scene):
   • Roles: Dad (60s/70s) and Daughter (late 30s/40s).
   • Description: A heartfelt moment as Dad teaches his daughter about vintage jazz while reminiscing over a toast.
3. “The Big One” (Hunting Cabin Scene):
   • Roles: Grandpa (70s/80s), Son (50s), and Grandson (30s).
   • Description: Three generations enjoy bourbon as Grandpa retells an old hunting story by the fireplace.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform scripted roles naturally and professionally on camera.
• Follow directions from the director and production team.
• Collaborate effectively with co-actors for authentic storytelling.
• Be punctual and prepared for a half-day shoot.

Requirements:

• Adults aged 21-90 years.
• Must work as local hires in Rochester, NY.
• Non-union talent only.
• Comfortable portraying scripted scenarios authentically.

Compensation Details:

• Rate: $750 flat per talent for Social/Web usage.
• Additional bump available if broadcast rights are included.

Stand-In – Non-Union (Male) for Production in Rochester, NY

Job Description: Two Sues Casting & Locations is seeking a reliable stand-in for an upcoming production in Rochester, NY. This role requires all-day and evening availability to ensure flexibility with varied shoot times. The stand-in will help the crew set up lighting, framing, and camera angles by standing in for principal actors. This is a non-speaking role ideal for someone interested in gaining on-set experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Stand in for principal actors during lighting and camera setups.
• Follow specific instructions from the director and camera team to match the actor’s movements and positioning.
• Be available for long hours, as needed, to accommodate production schedules.
• Maintain punctuality, reliability, and professional conduct on set.

Requirements:

• Male, age 18 or older.
• Height between 5’7″ and 5’10”.
• Dark hair; ideal candidates should have an olive, mixed, Middle Eastern, or ethnically ambiguous appearance.
• Non-union status.
• Local to Rochester, NY, or willing to work as a local.
• Able to provide recent headshot, full-length photos, and full contact information.

Compensation:

• $15 per hour, with an approximate daily rate of $210 for a 12-hour day.

Stand-In and Background Police Officer for Film in Rochester, NY (Non-Union)

Job Description:
Two Sues Casting & Locations is seeking a Black/African American male or female actor to work as a stand-in and background police officer for an upcoming film project. This non-union position offers several days of work over the next couple of weeks. The role requires a slim/fit build and will involve standing in for key actors, as well as playing a background police officer in select scenes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a stand-in for principal actors, ensuring that lighting, blocking, and camera setups are properly aligned.
• Portray a background police officer in various scenes, following the direction of the production team.
• Maintain professionalism on set, collaborating with other cast and crew members to ensure smooth production operations.
• Be available for multiple days of shooting as required by the production schedule.
• Follow all on-set safety and performance guidelines.

Requirements:

• Must be Black/African American, male or female.
• Height must be 5’9″ or very close to this range.
• Slim/fit build required.
• Prior stand-in experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Must be comfortable playing a background police officer in uniform.
• Available to work multiple days as needed.
• Must provide photos, phone number, height, and general sizes in the application.

Compensation:

• Paid role: $15 per hour.
• Estimated daily rate for a 12-hour day is approximately $210.
