Job Description
A network television true crime recreation series is casting Detective Glover, a law enforcement role for a new series filming in the Knoxville area. Production is seeking a white male who should resemble the body type and hair shown in the reference photo and feel comfortable portraying a police detective on camera. This is a non-union opportunity and local talent is strongly encouraged, as travel and lodging are not provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray Detective Glover in reenactment scenes for a true crime recreation series.

• Follow on-set direction and maintain continuity across multiple takes.

• Wear appropriate wardrobe and present a professional law enforcement look as required.

• Arrive on time, prepared, and available for scheduled call times and filming blocks.

Requirements

• White male performer who can match the look (body type and hair) of the reference photo.

• Must be comfortable portraying law enforcement on camera.

• Must be able to work as a local hire (no travel or hotel provided).

• Non-Union.

• Submission materials typically include: name, current photos (shoulders-up and full body), height/weight, and location (city/state).

Compensation Details

Job Responsibilities

• Portray assigned character roles authentically in a true crime recreation series.

• Follow direction from the director and on-set production team.

• Arrive prepared, professional, and ready for wardrobe/character requirements (clean-cut looks for select roles).

• Provide current photos and accurate sizing/location details for casting.

• For select roles, safely handle production props as directed by the crew.

Requirements

• Must be local to the Knoxville, TN area.

• Non-union.

• Must be comfortable portraying realistic law enforcement and true crime recreation scenes.

• For certain roles: physically fit, clean-cut appearance, and comfortable handling a prop weapon (as directed by production).

Roles Available:

• Sarasota Police Officer / Gallery Extra: physically fit male, clean cut, comfortable handling prop weapon.

• Detective 1: male, late 30s–40s, clean cut, comfortable portraying law enforcement.

• CSI 1 and 2: male, physically fit, clean cut.

• Art Gallery Extras: males and females, 40s+.

• Orderly: male, 30–50, scene involves giving medicine to an inmate.

Compensation Details

• Sarasota Police Officer / Gallery Extra: $100/day

• Detective 1: $100/day

• CSI 1 and 2: $75/day

• Art Gallery Extras: $75/day

• Orderly: $75/day

• Perform an on-camera club argument scene with an “aggressive” tone (acting only).

• Follow direction from the production team on set.

• Be available at the required call time if selected.
