ELEMENTS Studio is searching for a passionate and experienced Video Producer-Director to join our team of Creative Professionals in High Point, North Carolina.
The heartbeat of any production; you will spearhead a wide variety of video projects – ensuring they are creative, efficient, and impactful – delivered on budget and on time. The ideal candidate has a dynamic portfolio of projects demonstrating top-tier Producing and Directing work in various formats and styles. Sharpened video production acumen, a drive for success, and a passion for storytelling are essential in this role.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:
- Produce and/or Direct impactful videos that engage key audiences – and enjoy doing it!
- Work with key staff to manage project schedules, resources, crews, and budgets from conceptualization through final edit.
- Create scripts, mood reels, and storyboards – conceptualizing and pitching engaging ideas to existing/potential clients and internally.
- Establish strong partnerships with our clients, resources, and crews to help conceive and execute a wide range of video projects.
- Collaborate with key studio partners to ensure successful execution throughout all project phases.
- Methodically assess and resolve logistical and creative obstacles throughout a project’s life.
- Uphold a high standard of production, creativity, and continuity between multiple projects.
- Actively maintain expertise in the latest technology trends, techniques, and tools related to film and video production.
Studio projects are either led by a single individual in the Producer-Director role OR separate Producer and Director roles in traditional above-the-line positions — This is based on the scope and/or budget of a project.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 6+ years of producing and directing experience in film, commercial, media production, or related field or equivalent at a production company, studio, or creative agency
- A strong portfolio of successful, high-quality videos, commercials, television shows, films…etc.
- A strong knowledge of all aspects of the filmmaking process
- The proven ability to effectively lead internal and external production teams
- An expert communicator and planner with a proven record of project successes
- An understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across channels and key audiences
- Passion for keeping up with trends across all types of media associated with film, video, commercials, web, digital, and social media
- The ability to package and present projects in an inspiring manner
- Clear and concise communicator displaying strong organization and collaboration skills
- Demonstrates an awareness and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of individuals and stakeholders from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and orientations
- Comfortable in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as the need arises
COMPENSATION: Starting $65,000 – $78,000/year based on skill/experience – with room to grow!
BONUS POINTS:
- A solid network of agencies, clients, crew, and collaborators is highly desirable – along with the demonstrated ability to source quality crew members in all three phases of the video production process.
- Experience and understanding of the lifecycle and placement of videos in New Media.

We are searching for a passionate and experienced Video Production Manager to join our Team of Creative Professionals in High Point, North Carolina.

As Video Production Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day business aspects of Elements’ Video Productions – overseeing Elements’ Producers, Directors, and Key Staff through all three stages of production. Responsibilities include project resourcing, planning, budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and studio-wide communications. The ideal candidate is a multi-threaded, organized, forward-thinking, no-nonsense type who works efficiently and communicates professionally. They must have a strong understanding the Video Production Workflow and have ideas to improve it.

Responsibilities
* Oversee Elements’ Video Productions ensuring project deadlines and budgets are met.
* Maintain an efficient communication system for Video Producers, Directors, Key Staff, and 3rd-Party resources throughout Production.
* Create, revise, actualize, and report detailed project budgets with Elements’ Producers & Line Producers
* Source & schedule 3rd-party production resources
* Create project and shooting schedules with Video Directors and Assistant Directors
* Report project progress to key studio staff & ownership
* Promote adherence to an established Studio workflow cost and labor reporting systems
* Communicate and implement new ideas to the established project workflow
* Establish strong partnership with our clients, studio colleagues, and production resources

Qualifications & Skills
* 6+ years of professional Video Production Management experience in commercials, corporate videos, film, television, related field or equivalent, at a production company, studio, or creative agency.
* A strong portfolio of managing successful, high-quality videos, commercials, television shows, films…etc.
* A strong knowledge of the production workflow and process
* An expert communicator and planner with a proven record of resourceful thinking and execution
* Strong proficiency using in the following systems & software:
- Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive…etc.)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Adobe Acrobat
* Experience using the following Industry-related software:

Job Summary:
The Creative Studio Director has a creative background in environmental graphics, marketing, interior design and/or architecture. Leads this specialized studio focused on delivering creative excellence, innovation, and thought leadership in the built environment. Develops and manages creative leaders who drive meaningful visual storytelling and customer engagements through creative thinking, research, and application of new ideas. Engages clients in forward-thinking discussions, workshops, and experiences to solve strategic challenges within their organizations. Sets and implements studio strategic goals, initiatives, and policies. Responsible for creative studio profitability.
Essential Functions
- Serve as the creative experiential expert in design and fabrication, liaising across internal teams and external partners to bring big bold ideas to life.
- Participate in creative brainstorming and the ideation process alongside other creatives.
- Lead the environmental design aspects of assigned projects of various scales, including visioning, creative conception (moodboards), floorplans, renderings, and environmental graphics.
- Lead communications across internal and external teams, owning the responsibility of delivering on the creative concept while serving as the expert in technical realities.
- Manages and oversees creative team through performance monitoring, goal setting, budgets and professional development planning to ensure profitability and achievement of financial goals.
- Partners at a leadership level with strategic accounts consultants, partners, and influencers to inspire and delight our customers.
- Leads creative efforts for key projects and/or accounts by leading visioning and or discovery workshops with Creative Team.
- Oversee and audit all major projects to ensure we are delivering our best creative work that connects the brand with culture and place.
- Lead and assist in providing best in class creative proposal responses with both visual and written skills.
- Generates and presents new ideas, insights, and thought leadership at industry events and conferences.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Membership in an industry professional organization required.
- Ability to generate and present new ideas, insights, and thought leadership at industry events and conferences.
- You’re not just a Creative Director, but a designer/production artist who specializes in environmental, industrial, and architectural design.
- You excel at providing creative direction to other designers or outside vendors.
- You have an understanding of and experience in leading all aspects of the creative process.
- Exceptional communication skills with a reputation for presenting work and explaining complex technical ideas to internal and external constituents with ease.
- You have an unmatched passion for collaborative work
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required in one of the following fields: Environmental Graphics, Industrial Design, Scenic Design, Marketing, Interior Design Architecture, Industrial Design or similar training or experience.
- 10+ years’ experience at an agency or large scale corporation
- An online portfolio of your best work
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Project Management software and Collaboration Tools such as Miro.
- 3+ years’ experience and a proven track record of being a recognized leader and manager of people.
