Responsibilities
CNBC Digital Video is looking for a business-news obsessed associate producer to help develop, produce and curate premium digital video products for its fast-growing direct-to-consumer subscription business. The role requires a mix of digital video and television production experience, ideally at a major business news outlet.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, disciplined and tech-savvy producer who can craft smart headlines, work under tight deadlines, and collaborate across several different departments at CNBC. The associate producer’s main responsibilities will be assisting the Senior Producer of CNBC PRO Video with the daily franchise, Market Movers, and with CNBC PRO’s monthly interview series, PRO Talks. It will also include daily curation, clipping and publishing responsibilities for CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer. The role will also call for assisting the team’s Senior Producer in virtual and in-person control room productions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assist the Senior Producer of the CNBC PRO Video team with daily assignments, and with help on long-term projects
- Select and curate the most compelling stock-specific soundbites from broadcast programming for the daily Market Movers franchise
- Assist with producing and clipping the daily Investing Club “Morning Meeting” livestreams with Jim Cramer
- Assist the Senior Producer of the CNBC PRO Video team to develop, produce and maintain new video franchises for the premium subscription audience

Qualifications/Requirements
- At least one year of experience working in a fast-paced digital or TV newsroom.
- Strong writing skills and news judgment
- The ability to work under tight deadline pressures
- The ability to work early morning/late nights during busy news cycles and/or weekends depending on breaking news
- Experience at handling C300, Sony FS7 and other high-level professional equipment.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop Experience with digital/broadcast publishing workflows (CMS, WildMoka, Wirecast, iNews, etc.)
Additional requirements:
