ENTERTAINMENT ESCORT: Responsible for facilitating Entertainment performances. Position promotes positive guest experiences through one-on-one interactions with guests and by assisting performers.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitates entertainment performances by providing positive service and accurate information to guests according to Entertainment departmental guidelines and expectations. Responsible for the safety and physical well-being of performers while on set. This includes; assisting with lines, camera and photos, autograph books and other guest/management needs. Responsible for safely escorting performance vehicles to, on and from set, while monitoring guest safety.
  • Assists and accompanies Entertainment performers to, on and from assigned sets. Supports Animated Characters with Dressing/Undressing character costumes including Zippers, Snaps, shoes and Head pieces.
  • Responsible for assisting in operational/administrative duties which may include; daily set up and strike of stanchions and signage, proper use and refueling of company vehicles, and completion of daily paperwork.
  • Follows daily care guidelines for character costumes in order to maintain the integrity of the performance or role and provides communication to management regarding costume problems, issues and concerns.
  • Expected to occasionally participate in Entertainment performances as directed by Entertainment Management.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

SCOPE: Responsible for ensuring performer and guest safety during guest/character interactions and upholding UO’s Mission of delivering unforgettable experiences to our guests.

Culture & Engagement

  • Lead and facilitate team wide calls fostering development of professional working relationships.
  • Partner with team members to develop and coordinate social events that are engaging and fun.
  • Create and update employee engagement surveys, key takeaways, and presentations.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Screen candidates through live video calls to understand their skills, experiences, and career alignment with any open roles.
  • Provide detailed notes and learnings about candidates within an applicant tracking system to create a constant feedback loop to both hiring managers and candidates.
  • Schedule interviews and project manage all recruitment activities and updates for the team.
  • Prepare employment agreements for successful candidates.
  • Ensure smooth execution of the onboarding process for new hires through coordinating with direct reports and the training team.

Marketing & Promotions Director – Trenton, NJ, Princeton, NJ

94.5 PST and New Jersey 101.5 in Ewing, New Jersey, owned and operated by Townsquare Media, is looking for a full-time Marketing and Promotions Director. This is a department head level position that reports to the Director of Content, but is expected to work on a day-to-day basis equally with the Director of Sales. In this position they will be the driving force behind organizing and coordinating promotional events, arranging on-air contests, creating/executing sales programs, increasing the visibility of the station in the community, collecting, organizing and distributing contesting prizes, and coordinating all promotional on-air activity. This is an “in-person” job working at our studios in Ewing, NJ, and requires some nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Continuous brainstorming–providing fresh solutions for contesting, promotions and events that generate revenue and drive ratings
  • Work with the sales team to create and execute customized client partnership programs.
  • Hire and manage promotions part-time staff and college interns

Responsibilities

  • Applicant will be in charge of the full image of the station. This includes music, imaging, social media,
  • Publish a minimum of 2 original local articles per day on the station website and mobile app.
  • Write assigned Facebook posts along with other social media platforms including Twitter and our mobile app.
  • Attend and assists in all market cluster live events, and produce station promos and imaging on a daily basis.
  • Conducts Live Remotes and appearances and assist in special promotions and programming activities.
  • You will also have the opportunity to cover an on-air shift on The Snake either on weekdays or weekends.

Qualifications

  • History of original written digital content or able to prove an ability to write original content
  • Knowledge of basic FCC rules and regulations.
  • Must have superior knowledge of the Classic Rock format.
  • Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels, multi-task, and handle pressures and deadlines.
  • Skill in operation of control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment.
  • Proficiency in NexGen and Adobe Audition.
  • Computer literacy in applicable programs and excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Public speaking skills and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting.
  • Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing.
