The ideal candidate will possess a high-energy level and will have a rolodex of Sr. level management and executives to quickly penetrate accounts and drive business across an organization. Must be willing to travel to client sites across the U.S. and utilize cold & warm calling techniques to identify opportunities, build relationships, set appointments, and close business.

Requirements include:

o Prior rolodex of buyers including Sr. level management and executives

o 7+ years of experience selling technology staffing and consulting services

o Ability to establish and maintain customer relationships with decision maker’s (i.e. CXO level, EVP, VP, Director, technology managers)

o Ability to work cross functionally and utilize various resources (both internally & externally)

o Experience using CRM systems & computer applications

o Must be a self-starter and possess a high-energy level

Senior Catering Sales Manager

Sell and service banquet and meeting functions in order to achieve catering department goals.

Essential Job Functions (but not limited to)

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards .
  • Oversee all catering sales, targeted towards existing and new corporate and social markets
  • Solicit new business, making prospecting calls and outside client visits.
  • Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current and potential clients.
  • Handle account details ensuring all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented.
  • Service accounts including BEO’s, and Group Resumes when necessary.
  • Prepare information for, meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate to obtaining potential business from that account.
  • Provide an exceptional level of service and acquire the highest quality of catered products for our clients.
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff.
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management

  • Provide necessary information to DOSM to establish forecast and budget
  • Work closely with Banquet Manager to ensure highest level of service and experience is provided

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related industry preferred.
  • Proven track record in catering and banquet sales required.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Travel to meet with or call individual corporate clients by telephone to solicit annual and

weeknight business.

  • Meet and greet clients, conduct property tours, and promote facilities and services. Answers
