JOB DESCRIPTION:

Funrise is seeking a Brand Manager to join the Marketing team. This position will lead the creation, implementation and execution of brand strategies designed to drive sales, consumer engagement, market share growth, revenue growth, and profitability management. The ideal candidate is an experienced brand marketing strategist with excellent presentation skills and executive presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive portfolio growth, brand experiences, and marketing strategies
  • Develop and execute projects for existing brands and new platforms
  • Lead internal support centers and agency partners for brand management
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Focus on productivity, efficiency, and solution-oriented approach
  • Lead and execute seasonal brand planning process
  • Craft compelling presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Own International Marketing inquiries and on-brand execution
  • Drive 360-marketing strategies to boost consumer demand
  • Support upfront planning and budgeting with Director oversight
  • Maintain awareness of brand financials and implications for marketing investment
  • Act as a problem solver for cross-functional partners
  • Showcase executive presence and strategic leadership ability
  • Other duties as assigned per business needs

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of brand management within the toy industry required
  • Campaigns experience across TV, digital, social, PR, and retail
  • New product innovations and launch experience
  • Brand lifecycle experience and retail industry knowledge
  • Mass market experience, especially in Kids/Family marketing, Toy, or quick-turn fashion
  • Diversified experience with proven success in big and small companies, start-ups, and entrepreneurial ventures
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex problems
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation skills and executive presence
  • Ability to synthesize data into compelling stories
  • Proven ability to represent a brand internally and externally

Location: Sherman Oaks

Hybrid, Full-time, Exempt

Compensation: $80k-$160k

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Funrise is seeking a talented PR Manager to join our Global Brand team. The PR Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic public relations and communication initiatives to enhance the company’s brand image and reputation. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining positive relationships with the media, stakeholders, and the public. The ideal candidate is a seasoned communications professional with a proven track record in securing high-impact media coverage, a strategic thinker capable of enhancing brand reputation while effectively managing crises, and a creative leader with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, bloggers, and media outlets to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Develop and execute influencer marketing campaigns that align with the organization’s goals and target audience.
  • Monitor influencer activity and track campaign performance to ensure KPIs are met and ROI is achieved.
  • Create detailed reports on campaign performance, including metrics such as engagement rates, reach, and conversions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to influencer marketing and incorporate new strategies as appropriate.
  • Prepare press releases, media kits, and other materials for distribution.
  • Develop and implement PR strategies aligned with Funrise business objectives.
  • Create and execute communication plans for product launches, corporate announcements, and crisis management.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all PR activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop compelling PR campaigns.
  • Protect and enhance Funrise’s brand reputation in the market.
  • Plan, coordinate, and promote corporate events, product launches, and trade shows.
  • Handle communication with the media and stakeholders during crisis situations.
  • Foster strong internal communication by keeping employees informed about PR initiatives.
  • Manage the PR budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficient allocation of resources.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in the consumer products or entertainment industry.
  • Strong media relations skills with a proven track record of securing high-quality media coverage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Crisis management experience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Familiarity with PR measurement and analytics tools.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative PR strategies.
  • Team leadership and management skills.
  • Proficiency in digital and social media platforms.

Compensation range: $110k – $120k

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Funrise is seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Executive Assistant with a strong interest in career development to support the Chief Executive and Executive Office. Duties are complex and confidential requiring the highest level of discretion and independent judgment. The ideal candidate will be extremely detail-oriented, organized, possess a high standard of excellence, and have a professional and resourceful approach to his or her work.

The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of responsibilities and confidential matters with discretion.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Primary point of contact for internal and external communication on all matters pertaining to the top executives.
  • Works closely and effectively with the CEO to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.
  • Handles various special projects as needed, including brand coordination and project management.
  • Maintains the executive’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Coordinates and builds international and domestic travel itineraries, including arranging point-to- point transportation.
  • Leads event coordination for company events and large meetings.
  • Composing and preparing correspondence that is often confidential.
  • Prepares and reviews materials and correspondence for meetings.
  • Assist with creation and modification of presentations, spreadsheets, charts, and other documents.
  • Handles the expense reports for the CEO and Executive Office.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
  • PA duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-level executives in the Consumer Products or Entertainment industry is preferred, however, highly motivated new or recent college graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write, proofread, and edit with precision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media platforms.
  • Basic financial and data analytic skills preferred.
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive, confidential information in a diplomatic and dignified demeanor.
  • Excellent relationship skills with the ability to analyze and anticipate business needs and provide resolution in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Advanced interpersonal sensitivities with aptitude for successfully navigating varied personality types.
  • Demonstrated experience working with all levels of executives, internally and externally

Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000
