DESIGNER RTW DEVELOPMENT / PRODUCTION MANAGER – ARIAS NEW YORK
ARIAS New York is looking to hire a full-time professional in the role of Product Development / Production Manager. This role is key to the business and will report directly to the Director of Development/Production.
This position is responsible for maintaining an excellent track record of development through to production from initial sketch through to delivery of the final production units. Through everything they do, they communicate our core values and key brand aesthetics as a designer brand through design and quality.
Responsibilities include:
Process:
- Manage the day-to-day processes, making sure all timelines are met and communications are clear with garments being fit & made according to the company’s aesthetic and timeline
- Organize and attend fittings, follow up with fit comments for the pattern maker/factory
- Communicate comments on samples/PPS’ at all stages, first fit, the second fit, etc for the patternmaker and factory to ensure final production garments meet design and quality requirements
- Ensure patternmakers factories are provided with everything needed to start/finish development/production in a timely manner
- Oversee production quality control
- Work with grading and marking
- Work with trims and fabric suppliers
- Source Fabric & Trims in midtown, create flats, POs, Tech Packs, and Cut Tickets
Organization/ERP:
- Oversee ERP system inputs at the development stage of the new collection for costing purposes
- Update ERP system when anything changes at the development stage
- Keep all binders, boards, company dropbox and excels organized and up to date in real-time
Communication:
- Maintain excellent relationships and clear communication with internal cross-functional and external teams
- Source new and manage relationships with ongoing patternmakers, factories, and fabric/trims suppliers
Admin:
- Update internal inventory excels for fabrics, trims, patterns, and samples
- Consistently keep track of incoming invoices and have these paid in a timely manner
- Create and update various excel overviews for transparency within the company
Additional:
- Provide support as needed on all aspects of business development and day-to-day functions
The Candidate:
- 3-5+ years experience in NYC production designer womenswear required
- BA/AAS degree required in Fashion Design or Management
- Highly detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Factory PR seeks an Account Executive/Manager to join its Fashion Division to work on the Luxottica Eyewear portfolio of brands, including Ray Ban, Persol, Vogue Eyewear and all the designer licenses. The candidate should be an avid consumer of fashion media and have a robust knowledge of the influencers, taste makers and innovators leading the conversation in this space.
The position calls for an organized and attention-detailed publicist and relationship builder with a strong knowledge of influencer marketing. The candidate will work with—and be mentored by— an incredible team of publicists and strategists.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the execution of innovative communications strategies for all Luxottica brands, melding PR with paid and organic influencer campaigns
- Write and produce high impact press materials including press kits, releases and pitches
- Pitch products and campaigns to consumer media to secure product placements and news features
- Maintain and expand lists of Fashion, Lifestyle and business editors, broadcast producers, and conference organizers

The Senior Image Content Producer must feel comfortable presenting to various levels of leadership and varying types of audiences (one-to-one or larger groups).Responsibilities: Help to establish and lead communications and workflows, ensuring effective exchange of information and asset deliverables Assist in defining and documenting strategic global content plans across client’s locales including product launches, seasonal and campaign work across web, email, online stores and other platforms Handle day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of production challenges Work closely with internal and external partner teams to identify more efficient workflows Plan and execute internal and external workflows, ensuring an effective exchange of information and deliverables.
Coordinate with creative and development teams to understand and document the full breath of global content needs including the creation of detailed content matrices, software, hardware and lifestyle assets.
Develop detailed instructional briefs for Geo production teams Track record of partnership and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including creative and technical teams.
Partner with brand teams to develop a clear and thorough understanding of software features and their availability across regions Serve as a subject matter expert on regional localization variances and across various platforms, by providing guidance throughout the product lifecycle Cultivate a thorough and specialized understanding of the creative, web, motion graphics, and motion video production processes Partner with localization teams to provide scope based on marketing communication plans Ensure the successful training of newly hired producers Lead a team focused on certain product lines or initiatives, ensuring resource efficiencies and communication in the team Maintain awareness of scope vs actuals on projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Advanced degree and certifications in applicable fields a plus.
7-10 years of experience as a producer in a creatively-driven advertising agency or equivalent in-house teams Ability to effectively lead and clearly communicate overall campaign timelines, project deliverables, and resourcing needs Ability to navigate contending priorities, allocate resources appropriately, and mitigate associated challenges Ability to quickly process detailed information and capture the “big picture” in order to effectively deliver a clear and concise point-of-view Ability to identify and eliminate time-sensitive bottlenecks in order to produce high-quality deliverables Multitasker who can balance priorities within an ever-changing work environment Ability to successfully apply cumulative knowledge gain to future projects Experience using Content Management Systems Strong knowledge of Adobe suites of products Strong knowledge of products such as Keynote and Pages Contact from a Cella, Inc employee will always come from the domain @cellainc.com and will always provide a phone number where you can contact us.
