Creative Director Responsibilities:
- Partner with leads on the strategic, creative, and technology direction of Meta’s immersive VR products
- Push the boundaries of the potential of VR
- Work closely with engineers to explore foundational immersive 3D pipelines
- Define direction for creative and technology in new product experiences
- Inspire the creative team to be passionate and ambitious in their work
- Maintain and manage consistency of quality across a host of user and developer facing first party visual workstreams
- Effectively influence leaders and key partners across Meta products to gain alignment and communicate with conviction
- Partner closely with product, design and engineering to identify opportunities for feature enhancements that would elevate the quality and user experience
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers and engineers to serve a global audience
Minimum Qualifications:
- Foundation in 3D art and an understanding of technical challenges for creating mobile or real-time products
- Presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with experience communicating complex, sometimes abstract, concepts clearly and persuasively
- 10+ years industry experience including shipping at least one AAA title or animated film as an Art Director or Creative Director
- Demonstrated experience in working cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders, and breaking down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas
- Experience working in a product development process and providing direction on visual and content strategy
- Experience spotting trends and understanding popular culture in the global media landscape
