Position Summary:

Thrill One is seeking a dynamic Creative Director to establish the creative vision and direction of our properties across both design and video disciplines. The Creative Director will collaborate with the creative producer, ensuring the elevation of our properties’ brand identity and overall creative output. They will lead creative brainstorming sessions and refine ideas into impactful creative executions. Additionally, the Creative Director will manage and lead the design and video teams to ensure cohesive and high-quality creative representation across all properties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Content and Creative to establish the creative vision and direction for Thrill One owned properties – Nitrocross, Nitro Circus, and Street League Skateboarding.
  • Elevate the properties’ brand identity and overall creative output across design and video verticals.
  • Collaborating with the Creative Producer, co-lead creative project and campaign brainstorm sessions with Content, Creative, and Social teams, refining ideas into impactful executions.
  • Manage and lead the design and video teams to ensure cohesive creative representation of the properties.
  • Advise on creative team members’ skills, capabilities, and bandwidth to the Creative Producer to ensure all creative projects and campaigns are managed effectively.
  • Build and reinforce internal department relationships across content, creative, social, marketing, ticketing, partnerships, and operations teams.
  • Research and advise on emerging creative tech, trends, and resources.
  • Work closely with drivers, athletes, and talent from a storytelling standpoint, identifying compelling narratives and forging strong professional relationships across the properties.

Qualifications:

  • 7-9 years of experience in a creative role within the sports or entertainment industry.
  • Leadership experience managing a creative team across both design and video disciplines.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Art Director is an experienced specialist responsible for the conception, design and execution on complex projects with minimum supervision. Senior Art Directors can generate and sell big ideas and/or campaigns with the use of advanced design and presentation skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Position

Reporting to the Vice President–Marketing, the Creative Director is a senior marketing role that oversees the production and day-to-day operations of the marketing department. Working in collaboration with the Vice President–Marketing, the Creative Director ensures timely development and execution of strategic product, brand, advertising and marketing initiatives for both internal and external clients. In addition to providing ongoing coaching, mentoring and direction to a small marketing team, this position works hands-on with several projects at a time, will be involved in all phases of creative development, will oversee the creative process, proof all work created by direct reports, and stay apprised of the competitive landscape as well as the latest creative, advertising, and marketing trends.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Responsibilities and essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Vice President–Marketing to ensure the timely development and execution of advertising, marketing, branding, and revenue initiatives for the organization and external clients as assigned.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the marketing team including project management, traffic control, production schedules and quality assurance for a multi-disciplined, cross-functional marketing department to complete projects on time and within budget including: digital and print production of marketing collateral, transactional and marketing emails, direct-response copywriting, advertising and promotional campaigns, PPC management, social media, content marketing, website design, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on marketing or creative services experience including campaign development, graphic design/art direction, copywriting, email marketing, websites, social media, search engine marketing, etc.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading a multi-disciplined marketing team, including designers, copywriters and digital marketers by managing and directing projects from ideation, through production, to completion–on time and within budget.
  • Agency or creative services background preferred.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of traditional, website and digital design and copywriting including proven marketing campaign results with case studies.

We are looking for authentic stories from caregivers who live with and care for their loved ones under the same roof. This campaign aims to highlight the significance of recognizing early signs of dementia, the process of addressing these symptoms, and the impact of early diagnosis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in video shoots that will last approximately 15 to 30 seconds.
  • Share personal experiences regarding the early signs of dementia, how they were addressed, and the benefits of consulting a healthcare provider.
  • Engage on camera, with the person with dementia able to articulate their experiences and thoughts, even if briefly.

Requirements:

  • Must be a caregiver to someone with an early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or other dementia-related diseases (not a professional nurse or healthcare worker).
  • Must have a personal and familial relationship with the individual (e.g., spouse, close family member).
  • The person with dementia should be capable of speaking about their experiences on camera.
  • Seeking both English and native Spanish-speaking participants.
  • Both participants must be available in mid-May for the shoot.
  • Participants should reside in Texas. Production may accommodate participants outside of Austin who are unable to travel.

Compensation Details:

  • The selected pair will receive a total payment of $3,000, which covers both participation in the shoot and usage rights for the produced content.
