Senior Platform Editor

The Wall Street Journal is looking for a senior platform editor to join our Social Strategy team as we expand our focus on vertical storytelling.

The senior platform editor will help lead a team responsible for crafting visually rich news experiences on vertical platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. You Will:

+ Showcase our journalism for the millions of people who come to us from social channels, from Instagram and TikTok to LinkedIn and X.

You Have:

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in natural, lifestyle-style video and photo scenes as a father-daughter pair

  • Follow simple direction while keeping interactions genuine and relaxed

  • Portray everyday family moments at home and outdoors (play, routines, errands)

  • Work professionally with the crew during the shoot days
