A staged reading production is seeking one female actor for a paid, non-equity role in a dramatic theatrical presentation. The project is an award-winning, headline-inspired play that confronts themes of antisemitism and political bullying within a private school setting. The role requires strong dramatic presence and the ability to portray an authoritative, emotionally complex character.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform in a staged reading for live audiences

• Portray a principal-level authority figure with emotional restraint and rigidity

• Participate in rehearsals conducted virtually

• Perform professionally in both afternoon and evening presentations

Requirements

• Female actor

• Appears to be in her 40s

• Strong theatrical performance skills

• Comfortable performing serious, socially driven subject matter

• Ability to participate in virtual rehearsals

Compensation Details

• $250 flat rate

• Non-Equity production

• Dinner and snacks provided
