A narrative short film is seeking an experienced Assistant Director (AD) for a paid, in-person production. This role involves supporting both pre-production and on-set operations to ensure an organized, efficient shoot. The project requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage schedules, communication, and on-set responsibilities in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Responsibilities

Assist with pre-production tasks including location scouting, scheduling, and coordination

Participate in production meetings and virtual check-ins as needed

Support production organization and workflow planning

Manage on-set Assistant Director duties during filming

Help ensure production runs on schedule and efficiently
Requirements

Previous experience as an Assistant Director preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with cast and crew

Compensation Details

$150 flat rate for pre-production

- Must be available for filming in Los Angeles
Compensation:
- $500 per day for 2 days
