Job Description
A new feature project, Hurricane Harvey, is seeking background actors for scenes set in the 1970s and 1990s. This is a non-union production filming in Nashville, TN, and offers a unique opportunity to be part of a historically inspired film. Local talent only.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray background roles in period scenes with authenticity and professionalism

• Follow direction from the assistant directors and production crew

• Be prepared for long shoot days and maintain consistency across takes

• Bring energy and realism to every background performance

Requirements

• All genders, ages 18–65

• Must be able to blend naturally into both 1970s and 1990s settings (no modern hairstyles, tattoos, or piercings visible)

• Must be available Wednesday, November 5 (morning call time)

• Must be willing to commit to a potential 12+ hour shoot day

• Local to the Nashville area only

Compensation

• $100 for 8 hours ($12.50/hour), plus time and a half for overtime

SAG Background Actors Needed for Commercial in Nashville

Job Description
A new SAG commercial titled Traveller is seeking background actors for an upcoming shoot in the Nashville area. This project will feature stadium environments and requires performers who can portray realistic workers and event staff. The production is accepting SAG submissions only and is open to local talent available for a full day on set.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray various stadium crew members such as custodial staff, concessions workers, event techs, and security.

• Follow on-set direction and repeat simple background actions as needed.

• Maintain professionalism and availability throughout the filming day.

Requirements

• Ages 20–50, all ethnicities.

• SAG members only (non-union submissions are no longer being accepted).

• Must be local to Nashville, TN, as travel compensation is not provided.

• Available to work Tuesday, November 4, for up to 12+ hours.

• Comfortable in practical clothing suited for crew and stadium settings.

Compensation

• SAG scale rate: $488.70/day + 10% agency fee (if applicable).
