Job Description
A new limited television series inspired by the true story of the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster is seeking children and teens to work as paid background actors in Atlanta, Georgia. Young performers will help recreate everyday life from the 1970s through the late 1980s, appearing in scenes involving families, neighborhoods, schools, community events, airports, celebrations, memorials, and crowds. A variety of ages, looks, and personalities are encouraged, and previous acting or on-set experience is not required.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform as a background actor in scenes set during the 1970s and 1980s.
- Help create authentic family, school, neighborhood, and community environments.
- Follow direction from the production and assistant directing teams.
- Maintain appropriate behavior and focus while working on a professional set.
- Participate in wardrobe fittings when booked and required.
- Perform naturally alongside other background actors and cast members.
Requirements
- Open to children and teens.
- No previous acting or on-set experience is required.
- Must be able to work as a local hire in Atlanta, Georgia.
- Must be comfortable appearing on camera in period-specific scenes.

Compensation
- $182 for 10 hours of filming.
- $28 for a 2-hour fitting.

A limited television series is seeking experienced stand-ins ages 18 and older for filming in Atlanta, Georgia. This paid stand-in casting opportunity is specifically geared toward performers with previous professional stand-in experience who understand the consistency, reliability, and technical demands of the position. Previous photo double experience is also valuable. Selected stand-ins may work anywhere from a single production day to recurring assignments throughout the series.
Job Responsibilities
- Work as a professional stand-in for principal cast members during production.
- Assist the camera and lighting departments with blocking, framing, lighting, and technical preparation.
- Accurately maintain assigned marks and positioning between takes and setups.
