Worksport has spent much of 2021 laying the groundwork for large revenue growth in 2022; therefore, little capital was designated towards marketing initiatives relative to our expected marketing spend for 2022. We are now looking for a senior, experienced, capable candidate to run our marketing campaigns in-house.

At Worksport, a great Influencer Marketing and Social Media Manager should:

Be our go-to when it comes to developing unique channel and content strategies. We are looking for a digital strategist who can develop and implement comprehensive influencer strategies and campaigns, manage owned, earned, and paid digital touchpoints that deliver on our objectives, and be proficient in front of and behind the camera. And while the proper candidate is comfortable on camera, he/she should know when to contract other people to be on camera as well.

 

We are looking for someone that can both be our community leader and a voice on all major social media channels. We want a persona that could engage our community and build it to new heights with out of the box thinking and a constant flow of assets.

Some responsibilities would include crafting proposals and budgets, developing content calendars, planning materials, finding and promoting our products through online product review channels and networks, and overseeing the deployment of digital assets that you created for all channels. You will also have to work closely with our marketing agency to provide them with all assets that could be used for paid media campaigns that they are running as well as working closely with in house media development to get larger projects done.

The ideal candidate has a strong marketing acumen and uses critical thinking to provide their audience with an engaging story that will create emotional connections between consumers and our brand. With 5+ years of experience in a digital marketing role, the successful candidate is a good collaborator and understands emerging trends and behaviors across digital channels, best digital practices, and how digital can provide solutions to better serve our overall goals. They are experts in KPI metrics and benchmark targets for organic campaigns. They know how to collect and deliver actionable data and analytics that support decision making and they know how to leverage social monitoring tools for qualitative marketing research and insights.

Most importantly, the ideal candidate should be content centric rather than strategy alone. We want our candidate to create unique and interesting social photos and videos that capture the attention of customers, investors, and the internet. This means that we would want to see some content featuring the company or products that aren’t necessarily selling something tangible. But getting eyeballs on the brand in general using tending topics and subjects. We do not want someone to just be behind the camera, we want someone that would feel comfortable on camera as well.

How would you succeed in this position?

 

  1. Extensive influencer & social media knowledge – in-depth knowledge of social media platforms and how each can be deployed in different scenarios
  2. Social media channel management experience – posting, community management, and growth strategy
  3. Analytics, measurement and reporting – proficient in social listening and monitoring tools to interpret conversations and convert to information that can fuel smart, data-driven decision-making across the organization; ability to analyze influencer statistics and quality of their numbers.
  4. Influencer / blogger outreach – experience identifying, recruiting and managing influencer / brand ambassador programs exclusively for Worksport.
  5. Knowledge of FTC blogger guidelines.
  6. Problem-solving – resourceful, creative hands-on approach to brand building and problem solving.
  7. Flexibility – the world of social media is 24/7 while we don’t expect employees to be always on, this role is not 9-5. This role demands listening and responding with our community in a reasonable and timely manner. Travel, evening and weekend event coverage or crisis monitoring may be necessary periodically.
  8. Communication skills – strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience presenting in meetings with stakeholders.
  9. Self-starter – works effectively independently and has the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities.
  10. Organizational skills – ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously with excellent personal organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Influencer & social media management experience: 3-5 years
  • Relationship management with external agencies, vendors and business partners: 3-5 years
  • Proficient with web research and social listening platforms such as HootSuite, Sysomos, Mention, and Brandwatch.
  • BA or BS in Marketing, Digital, Communications, or related.
  • Must have 2000+ followers on personal social media channels. Emphasis on twitter, Instagram and TikTok
  • Must have worked with Adobe Creative Suite for 3-5 years. Emphasis on Photoshop and Premiere.

In this role, you will shape our social presence across TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms, creating platform-native content that engages learners, partners, and communities. You will lead social campaigns, manage paid and organic digital marketing efforts, and drive measurable audience growth and lead conversion. Working closely with marketing, product, and program teams, you will help build visibility for our free, expert-led training programs, our partnerships with top employers such as Amazon, Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, and the U.S. State Department, and our commitment to creating inclusive pathways into high-demand careers.

This is a high-visibility role that blends creativity with analytics. You will use insights from social listening and performance metrics to optimize campaigns, spot trends, and experiment with new formats. You will have significant ownership of content strategy and execution, helping shape the brand voice and tell compelling stories that inspire action. A day in the life 

  • Develop and execute a creative social media strategy to grow our audience, increase engagement, and drive lead conversion.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize the social media strategy across TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Experiment with emerging platforms and formats to expand reach and engagement.
  • Create compelling content, including copy, short-form video, and graphics, tailored to each platform and audience.
  • Manage social media calendars and campaigns across multiple platforms, both organic and paid.
  • Monitor trends, perform social listening, and use analytics to optimize content and campaign performance.
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics, using insights to adjust strategies and improve results.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and program teams to support brand initiatives.
  • Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely, human-centered manner.
  • Identify and partner with influencers or partners as needed to expand reach and impact.

Your expertise 

  • 2–3 years of professional social media management experience.
  • Strong understanding of all major social platforms (TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X).
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing campaigns and performance optimization.
  • Ability to create content tailored to platform-specific best practices.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics).
  • Familiarity with social listening and content optimization best practices.
  • Impeccable writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Knowledge of lead generation tactics and social-driven conversion strategies.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented, and passionate about self-improvement.
  • Comfortable and excited to work in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Self-starter, capable of independent time management and prioritization.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut).
  • Experience with influencer marketing or community-building initiatives.
  • Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation tools.

The Role

Associate Photographers are the talented and versatile team responsible for the media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Equipped with a top-of-the-line Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment and iPad, our Associate Photographers create virtual tours, floorplans and photography for residential homes. Each Associate Photographer is given a core territory in which they are responsible for servicing clients of Homes.com and Apartments.com.

 

Associate Photographers will have appointments set for defined dates and times, where they will scan homes and apartments with Matterport Pro3 cameras, capturing virtual tours and floor plans. Associate Photographers will also be responsible for residential photography to be used in marketing purposes to advertise homes and apartments to future owners and renters. This role works closely with clients, sales associates, logistics and the management team. Photographers are managed remotely by a Photography Manager located in local markets.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support marketing efforts on our industry-leading marketplaces, Homes.com and Apartments.com, by capturing beautiful 3-D virtual tours and footprints.
  • Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, utilizing photography techniques to capture the spaces in the most pleasing way possible.
  • Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet our client’s demands.
  • Professionally communicate with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to strategically evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.
  • Own the market! While not working on a residential home, navigate one-mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage. Identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to be photographed.
  • Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment.
  • Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.
  • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Physical Requirements of Position

  • Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements are needed to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying are necessary to perform job functions.
  • Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons.
  • The ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of professional experience.
  • Real Estate Photography experience required.
  • Experience working as a professional photographer, or a recently earned degree in photography.
  • Be an experienced Drone Photographer with a FAA Part 107 License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
  • Strong time management skills and very detailed oriented.
  • Capability to accurately capture and enter data.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
  • Enjoys working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Field experience preferred.
  • Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start. Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.

 

Compensation:

The Associate Photographer position is hourly plus bonus-eligible position. The bonuses are paid on a monthly cycle and are based on your performance against pre-determined performance metrics. We are seeking individuals who thrive in a metrics and performance-based environment and who are driven by bonus incentives to produce great results.

​ This position offers an hourly wage equivalent to $49,000-$50,000 annually, based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
