THE ROLE
The creative department at JOE Media is at the heart of all branded content delivered across the JOE portfolio. We are proud to be one of the leading social publishers and we are dedicated to working with brands and clients that want to take their social and video content to a new level of innovation and creativity.
The role of the Creative Producer – Branded Content is a vital position, accountable for taking pitch winning creative ideas through to the finished asset. You’ll be working very closely with the creative, production management and production teams as well as external resources and internal stakeholders to seamlessly deliver social first video content that consistently delivers on brief.Â
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicating the creative vision clearly to production management, helping deliver accurate budgeting for all branded content video concepts.Â
- Manage multiple projects from pre-production to TX, ensuring production pipelines are carried out effectively on all projects
- Helping prep and attend all video shoots with responsibility for making sure that the end product is in line with the creative treatment.
- Spotting opportunities during shoots to elevate the content and capture unplanned beats that will explode across multiple platforms.Â
- Record and supply accurate time codes, liaising with the creative lead.
- Brief the assigned editors on the project up to first cut for Director/Head of Creative review
- Participate in calls/meetings with internal and external stakeholders where concepts and pitches are discussed and developed
- Supporting the Head of Creative, Senior Producer and fellow Producers and Director across production related tasks when necessary
- Drawing up detailed video production treatments, liaising with the creative and production departmentÂ
- Work without supervision to juggle multiple projects and confidently deliver on time.Â
- Ensure there are on set log notes to hand post shoot
- Problem-solving and communicating between inter-departmental teams during the production process
- Improve the implementation and execution of production best practices
Â
Who we’re looking for
- 3+ yrs experience as a Producer at a production company, social agency or publisher.
- 3+ yrs experience working on Social Video Productions.
- Confident with various filming techniques, cameras and post production tools.
- Experience working on commercial branded content.
- Experience casting talent, and hiring freelancers
- Understanding of content from an editorial POV as well as a brand/client POV – being committed to respect the audience and get the brand’s tone of voice
- Demonstrable working exposure and knowledge of video pre-production, production and post-production, including workflows and processes, equipment and software programs/tools
