Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing post for unscripted content in a studio, network, or production company or vendor environment
  • 5 years of experience managing projects at different stages of production
  • Experience with video and audio file formats, 4K resolution, Ultra High Definition (UHD), High Dynamic Range (HDR) Episodic, and film workflows

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to assess post production budgets and calendars
  • Ability to speak and write in French, Spanish, German, or Japanese fluently
  • Knowledge of future trends related to post processes, data, and information security

Google’s line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The YouTube Originals team is responsible for developing and leading original programming with YouTube’s partners around the world. Equipped with your creative skills and extensive industry knowledge, you’ll interact with producers, writers, and directors, and will guide internal stakeholders — including YouTube’s marketing and press teams — on matters pertaining to YouTube’s original content. Your knowledge of the industry, your experience launching new content, and your strong relationships with key industry players will help shape our robust pipeline of content and development for YouTube.

In this role, you will manage third-party production delivery of global assets for unscripted series, specials, and films for YouTube Originals distribution. You’ll be responsible for managing and tracking key deliverables from third-party productions and post vendors, working with external partners to ensure assets are delivered on time, meet quality control (QC), and YouTube Originals standards, owning delivery workflows, and leading content through subtitling, dubbing, and localization workflows across multiple regions and languages.

You’ll distribute to and coordinate with internal cross-functional teams on asset delivery and needs, assess post production budgets and calendars, obtain and maintain vendor and editorial relationships, manage internal communications on schedules, video cuts, and asset deliveries, problem-solve and raise concerns associated with delivery and launch dates, and improve existing workflows and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage delivery of video and audio assets for the Americas region of YouTube Originals films, specials, and unscripted series.
  • Establish or improve existing processes for content to be routed through subtitling, dubbing, and localization workflows across multiple regions and languages.
  • Review and approve post production budgets and schedules.
  • Manage internal communications about schedules, video cuts, and deliveries.
