Influencer Manager

Beauty By Imagination is looking for an experienced Influencer Manager to join our expanding team. The Influencer Manager is responsible for developing, evolving, and executing influencer marketing strategy for our rapidly growing, category-leading hair care, tools and accessories brands.

This team member will manage our multi-brand agency relationship on a day-to-day basis, from campaign briefing through influencer selections, campaign execution and measurement. You will work cross-functionally with other BBI departments to ensure strategy and message are aligned to brand and commercial goals, and that assets are engaging and drive MOM performance. You thrive in a fast-paced creative environment and can pivot quickly to optimize initiatives when needed and capitalize on trends and opportunities as they arise. Demonstrated expertise required across leading platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Social Media, Marketing and Communications teams on all aspects of influencer campaign strategy, execution, and measurement across platforms, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and commercial objectives.
  • Nurture influencer relationships and regularly identify and develop new relationships within relevant communities (creators, platforms, agencies)
  • Track and manage usage rights for UGC across earned, owned and paid environments, and manage any necessary invoicing and payments
  • Manage execution of ad hoc influencer gifting/product seeding
  • Represent the Social Media Team in relevant meetings and projects as needed.
  • Create slides, and provide analyses and competitive insights for management meetings in order to showcase strategy, performance, trends, etc.
  • Manage and track agency invoices, payments, p, SOWs, etc, as well as maintain internal budget trackers.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of influencer marketing and/or related marketing experience and demonstrated success in executing both small and large influencer programs from start to finish
  • Experience successfully managing projects and agency partners Natural storyteller who understands brand DNA, voice and aesthetics
  • Fluency with analytics ; adept at translating data into actionable insights
  • Early adopter of new and emerging social media platforms (must be able to speak to and demonstrate an acumen for the platforms and the people that use them)
  • Extensive knowledge of major social media platforms and technologies, how to tailor content by platform, what kind of content works best to build new audiences, retain existing ones, and meet specific marketing goals
  • This role is NYC-based with a hybrid schedule of both in-office and remote workdays. Must be available to be in NYC as needed.
  • Beauty/hair care and multi-brand portfolio experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Dash Hudson is a bonus.
