Seeking a talented Social Media Manager to join our team. This individual will oversee daily social media output for a variety of clients. The Social Media Manager is expected to know the ins and outs of all social media platforms, software, and best practices. This is a great opportunity for a creative, tech-savvy, financially literate, fiercely independent, and curious person who is excited about developing conversation starters, campaigns, and content to engage with the communities of our clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop a keen understanding of the crypto and social media industry, its history, the current news, and benchmark against top-performing social media creators in the sector
- Write in multiple voices, from newsy to humorous, and tailor content according to both message and medium
- Write posts that are accurate, clear, concise, and engaging for a variety of clients
- Work with a team of designers, video editors, and animators to ideate around graphic and video concepts and script out content
- Provide substantive feedback, from style to readability to copyediting to overall compellingness, on social media graphics and videos with the purpose of elevating the finished product
- Oversee and implement on a range of Social Media Manager duties
- Maintain and schedule posts on social media software (Buffer, Hootsuite, META’s Creator Studio etc)
- Ideate, create, and post compelling Instagram Stories
- Ideate, create, and post compelling TikTok content
- Ideate, create, and post compelling Twitter threads
- Set up and host Twitter Spaces and Instagram Live events
- Live tweet events and Twitter Spaces
- Engage with the community –from quote tweets to replies–across Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
- Self-copy edit at a high level
- Assess social media analytics and make pivots based on data
- Have a pulse of the crypto markets and what sentiment is like throughout the day
- Schedule out evergreen content and identify what solid evergreen content is
- Analyze and identifies any weaknesses in client social media and digital marketing strategy and move to implement improvements
- Assess how your posts are doing in real-time and make micro pivots in how you are writing throughout the day
- Ability to live on Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms, have your finger on the news and trend pulse, and jump on topics before other accounts do
- Chime into conversations in your client’s voice
- Ability to ask deep questions via quote tweet or reply, post polls in comments, chime in with the brand’s voice on a crypto hot topic, or elevate breaking news with a compelling quote tweet or IG Story share
Skills & Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of a variety of social media platforms, particularly Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- 3+ years of experience creating social media copy and content, ideally with an agency setting
- 3+ years of experience overseeing social media staff and implementing digital campaigns
- Prior experience within the crypto/blockchain industry is required, whether in a professional or personal capacity.
- Have proficiency in Discord, Telegram, and online moderation
- Comfort quickly switching gears and focus, moving from social media posting to content creation to campaign building throughout the day

Working under general supervision, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for driving awareness, affinity, and engagement with the Shaka Tea brand through social media presence and influencer partnerships. The Social Media Manager will have ownership over the strategic development and execution of our social media and influencer initiatives across our social & digital platforms, ensuring alignment and synergies with the brand’s business & marketing goals. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has extensive experience in social media and has a deep understanding of what makes content engaging, entertaining and shareable.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Management Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across all owned platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn) to grow brand relevancy and foster & improve engagement with followers.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar across all social channels to ensure a consistent posting schedule, balancing lifestyle, promotional, editorial and partnership content.
- Lead content creation efforts for high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging photo and video content for social media platforms. Spans self-directed / self-produced content to sourcing and managing content creators, and / or additional outside resources to generate content.
- Foster and nurture a community around the brand by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments, and participating in relevant conversations.
- Keep up to date on trends, current events, competitor activities, social media algorithms and strategies and best practices across social media platforms to maintain relevancy.
- Propose & execute branded collaboration & partnership ideas with other brands to grow followers on social media. Manage and execute giveaways and promotional contests.
- Lead the development and execution of targeted email marketing campaigns to enhance member acquisition and platform engagement.
- Define core KPI’s by platform and generate monthly reports to track performance, adjusting strategies to ensure KPI’s are met or exceeded.
Influencer Management Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of influencer strategies (both always-on and campaign-specific) to build brand awareness and credibility across key social channels including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with paid and unpaid social media influencers.
- Manage influencer partnerships from start to completion – from outreach, to creating and shipping custom packages, payment, and final post analysis.
- Familiarize content creators with our products and brand objectives and collaborate to create compelling content to help them bring our story to life.
- Review all influencer content for accuracy against brief and brand values.
- Set and develop influencer marketing standards and best practices for the brand.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing team members to support cross-channel campaigns and ensure campaign goals are being met through influencer activations.
- Track and analyze influencer performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. For campaign-specific influencer programs, develop post campaign reporting to share with key internal stakeholders.
- Partner with Brand Marketing team to brainstorm additional earned/owned strategies (PR) that amplify brand awareness.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or equivalent relevant experience required; marketing, digital marketing, communications, or advertising emphasis preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing digital marketing (social media marketing, influencer marketing, email marketing, etc.) with a high degree of knowledge about the principles of integrated marketing.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator for Bridgewater Commons:
Marketing Strategy Implementation
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director and property team to develop and execute comprehensive, research-based strategic planning that directs marketing efforts to enhance asset value by actively participating in the leasing process (permanent and specialty), driving sales, and generating alternative revenue.
- Have a working knowledge of the area market. Assist in obtaining information on competitive properties, area and customer demographics, and available media.
- Assist the marketing director in effectively executing a marketing program to enhance tenant sales and generate percentage rents.
- Coordinate and assist in executing special events and community relations programs to support merchandising efforts as set by the Marketing & Business Development Director and business plan; work with retailers to involve them as appropriate; track and produce results summaries to determine impact on center traffic and sales.
- Assist in implementing an ongoing public relations action plan as necessary.

- Oversee tourism initiatives and develop relationships with area hotels and visitor bureaus.

Digital Presence
- Oversee updates of website information on an as needed basis to keep information current. Write, collect, and update information for events, deals, news, directory changes, job opportunities, visitor resources, etc.
- Assist in developing a social media strategy and maintain a media calendar across all channels that meets center goals.
- Develop photo and video content for social media and digital platforms at the center.
- Curate email and SMS content, develop distribution strategy, and maintain a regular communication schedule. Implement a plan to grow the database.
Business Development
- Help identify corporate sponsorship opportunities to generate additional revenue for the property; assist with sponsorship proposals and programs.
- Work with the Marketing Director to identify new and unique tenants for the Specialty Leasing program and/or permanent Leasing.
- Attend local and regional events to maintain retailer relationships and introduce new retailers to the property.
- Identify and generate leads to grow the advertising program. Assist in the relationship management with clients from prospecting to close.
Retailer Development
- Review monthly sales reports to gain insight into retailer sales and track key retailer and category trends.
- Establish relationships and ongoing communication with tenants to maximize individual store sales.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop and implement retailer action plans aimed at maximizing retailer sales and increasing the center’s value.
- Communicate new trends and products with retailers to grow current business or expand to additional locations.

Management and Operations
- Communicate with the property team as needed or required to ensure that the team is kept apprised of marketing activities on the property.
- In concert with the Marketing Director, General Manager, and other Team members, manage Guest Services to provide quality service to guests, retailers, and the property Team.
- Follow corporate policies and procedures for all programs and promotions.
Financial & Reporting Responsibilities
- Participate in the preparation and observance of the annual income and expense budgets.
- Help prepare and adhere to the monthly and quarterly forecasts.

- Co-plan with Celsius marketing and influencer/artist representatives to develop buzzworthy PR activations driving relevance for Celsius brand and culture marketing properties.
- Drive the annual business planning process for brand and culture marketing communication.
- Draw on and activate your personal network of journalists, creators and industry influencers to help amplify the stories and news you generate around Celsius-sponsored influencers, artists and content creators.
- Commission and project manage photography and filming in support of brand and culture communications projects for owned, earned and shared channels.
- Seed Celsius product to music, entertainment, culture and arts media and influential figures to drive favorability and product placements.
- Attend Celsius brand and culture marketing events, artist performance moments and sponsored activities to facilitate press engagement and capture content for storytelling and news generation.
- Manage PR agency work in support of Celsius brand and culture marketing communication initiatives.
- Respond to day-to-day press inquiries about Celsius brand, culture and artist activities.
Qualifications
- You have deep knowledge and passion for the music, culture and entertainment; personal or career background in any of these areas highly preferred.
- Five or more years of communications, media relations and PR experience in a role directly responsible for brand or culture marketing communications at a consumer products brand or at a culture/entertainment PR agency.
- Candidates should have excellent work examples demonstrating a portfolio of strategic communications campaigns for entertainment or consumer product brands.
- Deep experience in media relations, working with journalists, pitching and securing quality stories, preparing spokespeople and securing interviews is critical.
- Candidates must be highly professional with the ability to navigate complex professional environments with tact and discretion.
- Successful candidates must be highly articulate communicators with excellent writing skills; the ability to quickly write high-quality, error-free copy is essential.
- Must be able to create and present high-quality, organized plans and strategies to senior leadership and brand partners.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, PR or related field.

Role Overview
Reporting to the VP, B2B Marketing, the B2B Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and organizing B2B events and tradeshows for the organization. They will also have responsibilities and support the broader marketing team with digital marketing, and demand generation campaigning efforts. The ideal candidate will have exceptional project management, communication, and leadership skills and a working knowledge of planning and executing in-person events, virtual events, and digital marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities

- Plan and execute B2B event marketing plans which includes national, regional/territory events and tradeshows, sponsorships, and speaking engagements.
- Collaborate and support digital marketing and demand generation campaign planning and execution
- Organize and coordinate campaigns including direct mail, account-based marketing, email, webinars, and other promotions attracting the organization’s ideal clients.
- Manage the lead and opportunity process with the Sales and BDR teams to ensure all opportunities are captured and reported on for all events.
- Ensure there is a positive ROI for each event – defined as the equivalent number of new leads generated, that culminate in new sales.
- Identify and cultivate new lead opportunity streams for all major events.
- Pre-event and onsite communication with delegates, and relationship-building with key stakeholders
- Establish staff schedules, arrange air and ground travel, task assignments, and equipment allocation to ensure conformance with department objectives and goals
- Represent and deliver service excellence that is in keeping with the organization’s brand
- Determine fiscal requirements and prepare budgetary recommendations
- Negotiate agreements with outside providers and subcontractors to ensure lowest cost and highest quality of service
- Work closely with internal and external event planning committees and client groups to define event goals, objectives and specific implementation plans that promote the organizations brand
- Establish communication protocols and operating procedures with planning committees, subcontractors and program staff
- Source venues, logistics providers (shipping, catering, telephony), acquire supporting technology and coordinate development of materials to execute high-quality events
- Maintain a calendar of events and implement a system that enables and anticipates long-term planning and effective event management for the organizations meetings, conferences and events
- Work closely with marketing managers, committees and marketing communications staff to effectively support the promotion of events to target audiences
- Conduct research and develop feasibility studies to identify new events opportunities for the organization
- Oversee procurement purchasing, event registration, and client service needs with regard to catering, meal events, audiovisual, security and rental needs for events
- Prepare event programs and confirm all necessary preparations are in order
- Identify all aspects of event risk assessment and crisis management planning strategies. This includes, but is not limited to, security for the event if necessary
- Supervise, direct and coordinate the activities of personnel, subcontractors and vendors as required to successfully execute all aspects of the event
- Ensure speakers are briefed and prepared to provide effective presentations and materials
- Trouble-shoot and smooth issues relating to the successful execution of the event program
- Provide campaign/event analysis, budget recaps and participant feedback and incorporate learning into future plans
- Develop reports and distribute as required to sponsors, participants, stakeholders and others.
Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in business, marketing, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of Event/Tradeshow management experience in or related field is required
- The position is based in Austin, TX and candidates are required to be in-person at our office a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Proven negotiating skills with hotels, entertainers and other event vendors
- Ability to develop professional relationships in all aspects of the position that result in stable, consistent, reliable, and courteous communication when dealing with other organizations
- Ability to problem solve and work independently in a changing and multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines
- Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills
- Proven ability to take direction and input and to develop effective and engaging branded events that will achieve the organizations goals
- Ability to influence and coordinate the efforts of other team members in support of events and other marketing campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate budgets and effectively manage expenses
- Ability to present and pitch ideas effectively to council management team
- High level of verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Solid business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills
