About the project:

We’re looking for motivated visual storytellers to put their own stamp on: INSERT NAME OF OUR WEB SERIES, a series centered around a group of sometimes overlooked but exceptional friends who encounter strange phenomena around their home town of Night Valley.

We’re looking to bring the energy of short form vertical TikTok and YouTube shorts content into the world of (still) short form 1920×1080 animations!

Each storyteller will be the creative lead on their own episode!

Responsibilities:

* Write short web animation story/scenarios (roughly 1-2 min shorts) that utilize our characters and locations and bring them to life on the page. We want to tell our stories quickly.

* Using provided character assets and visuals, bring stories to life on the screen

* Create custom assets as needed

* 2D animation/ After Effects animation to give characters expressions and movement (your own animation styles are welcome)

* Be creative and let your imagination run free. Our characters have defined backstories and motivations but it’s up to you to take them on an adventure.

Examples of what we expect at minimum:

Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this role is $85,000 – $100,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. The Role

XQ is seeking an experienced Art Director to join our dynamic team of cross-disciplinary designers, illustrators, writers, and producers. As the Art Director, your role will involve crafting creative content for digital, video, and print formats across various marketing campaigns and products.

Reporting directly to the Head of Creative, you will play a pivotal role in shaping concepts and bringing campaigns to life.   • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. After Effects is a plus.
  • Experience in art directing photography and video.
  • Ability to lead medium to large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.
