SHARE YOUR RECENT FIRST HOME BUYING OR SELLING STORY – Halifax & Toronto ($1,200 COMPENSATION) 

Casting recent home buyers and home seller success stories working with their realtor (realtor will not be featured) for a branded content video documentary series for VICE. Appearance Fees: $1200 per couple/family for two-day shoot. (Submission Deadline: Sunday, February 12th by 8pm EST.) 

– Candidates featured must reside in either Toronto, ON or Halifax, NS.

Candidates featured must live in either Halifax or Toronto and must be recent first time home buyers or first time home sellers.

 

In each 5–6-minute episode, we will feature a unique story of modern and diverse Gen Y home buyers or sellers in Halifax or Toronto.

Each of our subjects will highlight their relationship with their REALTOR and how they are helping them navigate the complexities of these major life decisions (note: individual realtor names and stories will not be featured). Through real-life storytelling, we will provide a deep dive into the real estate process, and reinforce the importance of using a REALTOR to guide them through one of the biggest decisions they’ll ever make.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides deep recruitment expertise (attract and recruit talent at all levels) within the media/entertainment industry, including a strong network and skillset to scale and grow the organization
  • Design and implement a talent acquisition strategy, process, and training that effectively supports the talent needs and capabilities across the company

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience providing efficient and effective enterprise-wide diversity recruitment strategies to meet business needs
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems, hiring metrics & reporting, and other tools to streamline and support sourcing and recruiting efforts
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and excel in creating new processes and procedures from scratch
  • Experience in all areas of sourcing such as social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting virtual job fairs
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems, Greenhouse or similar ATS software
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and negotiation skills

The Company

Creating, producing, and distributing distinctive factual and scripted programming, the Cineflix Media group includes Cineflix Productions, Cineflix Rights, Cineflix Studios, Buccaneer Media, Connect3 Media, Husk Media, Shiny Screens Entertainment, and a hub of producers from the US, UK, and Canada with whom we share strategic partnerships through joint ventures, first-look deals, and co-productions. The Role

Cineflix is currently looking for a Coordinator for the Human Resources department. This is a full-time position based in our Toronto office, on a Hybrid in-office schedule. 

The Human Resources Coordinator’s mandate will include projects and initiatives such as the coordination of Cineflix’s mentorship and internship programs, full-cycle recruitment, assisting with the implementation of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives and policy research and development. The individual in this role reports to the Director of Human Resources and works closely with the Human Resources team based in both Toronto and Montreal.  

Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment 

  • Research new recruitment options for all offices and productions
  • Liaise/create relationships with DE&I recruitment sources
  • Assist with creation of Job Descriptions for posting
  • Post position on internal HRIS as well as external recruitment sites
  • Read resumes and select candidates for long-list initial phone screenings  
  • Coordinate scheduling interviews 
  • Conduct initial phone screenings 
  • Liaise with position managers to discuss short-list candidates 
  • Conduct reference checks 
  • Assist with onboarding of selected candidate 

Diversity Equity and Inclusion 

  • Work closely with the HR Director on development, implementation, and coordination of all DE&I initiatives 
  • Participate in DE&I related meetings
  • Coordinate DE&I seminars and speaker series 
  • Maintain observance calendar and coordinate internal events

Internships

  • Research best practices for all offices
  • Define parameters and processes
  • Liaise with various departments and external internship coordinators from various schools to find appropriate placements in accordance with our needs and prepare internship agreements.

Mentorships 

  • Coordinate the Cineflix Productions External Mentorship program in accordance with the management directions. 
  • Coordinate the future internal mentorship program in accordance with the HR team’s direction. 

Intranet 

  • Research and update info on internal Cineflix Intranet HR related content – D&I, policies, COVID, etc

Project Coordination 

  • Work closely with the HR Director on development, implementation, and coordination of special projects (long-term and short-term)  

Other Human Resources tasks:

  • Draft select employment paperwork (offer letters, contracts, etc.) at the direction of the HR Director
  • Active Member of the Event Planning Committee in Toronto; plan and coordinate internal events 
  • Assist with the Toronto Health and Safety committee 
  • Coordinate background checks 
  • Input information and run reports from Cineflix’s HRIS – BambooHR (Vacation, employee info, etc)
  • Provide additional administrative support as assigned

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Must have high proficiency on Mac and Microsoft office programs especially Excel 
  • Experience working with a database system (HRIS), prior experience with BambooHR is an asset
  • Highly organized, and strong attention to detail. 
  • Strong work ethic, and punctuality. 
  • Strong time management skills, and able to problem solve under tight deadlines. 
  • Able to work quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Dentsu Creative is hiring an entry level Social Operations Assistant to partner with an exciting entertainment brand. You’ll be charged with ensuring all outward facing content is accurate and ties back to the brand voice and strategy alongside a passionate team of social experts.   • Review and proofread all social content prior to publication, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, voice and tone
  • Collaborate with the social strategy & account teams by reviewing any social trends and ensure they align with our brand standards
  • Review creative decks to ensure all visual elements are error-free & all write-ups are clear, concise & speak to the overall strategy
  • Work with the social strategy team to maintain detailed documentation and workflow processes for all social publishing
  • Act as final lens to ensure all the published content is aligned with the brand goals and strategies
  • Scan social channels for any possible issues (visual & written)
  • Assist all teams with small but important administrative tasks that ensure the account is running optimally

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Advertising or English
  • Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail
  • A firm grasp of the English language and nuances of grammar, punctuation, and syntax

About the role…

In this role, you’ll lead the marketing plan development and execution of the consumer events for LEGOLAND Florida Resort—that includes pirate parties, and more festive holiday fun than you can envision.

Your work in leading messaging across outward-facing marketing channels, including email and web content, and owning resort-wide communications and in-park revenue programs will promote the in-park guest experience to increase total sales, drive attendance, and grow revenue.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Maintain brand consistency while leading as a project manager for all consumer events and in-park revenue opportunities across all marketing channels
  • Develop strategic programs for consumer marketing initiatives that drive specific attendance and revenue goals while communicating direction and updates to all program partners for successful cross-channel implementation
  • Strategize and develop the resort-wide communications plan, including in-park signage, video content management, and new ways to share messaging and news to guests while they are onsite at LEGOLAND Florida Resort
  • Lead as a cross-divisional project manager to deliver consistent project status tracking, performance, and look-back assessments and maintain an ongoing business dashboard that measures event and campaign performance. In addition, develop relationships at other Merlin sites nationally and globally to share that performance and collaborate on standard processes.
  • Collaborate with CRM and eCommerce teams to provide oversight and lead the development of a critical communication plan and calendar through the execution of email marketing to targeted audiences
  • Supervise trends in the theme park and travel industry and provide recommendations for innovation
  • Support Head of Marketing and Communications and Senior Marketing Manager on revenue-driving and brand-building programs
  • Administrative tasks include budget maintenance, presentation generation, assistance with approval submission, and supervising third-party partners.

Who we’re looking for…

  • 2+ years project management experience
  • 2+years of experience within a theme park, destination, or travel/tourism
  • Problem-solving skills with an ability to anticipate project needs
  • Analytical skills, including experience with data, building consumer research tools (surveys, focus groups, etc.), analyzing information, and reporting findings
  • Proficiency in developing web-based marketing campaigns
  • Excellent verbal, written, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Summary of Position

Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Coordinator to support the International AVOD/SVOD sales team. This position will be fully ingrained in the dynamics of sales and management across all licensed rights in TV distribution but with a focus on Ad-Supported Video on Demand (AVOD) and Subscription Video on Demand(SVOD). The role provides support for all international SVOD and AVOD licensing initiatives and is critical in maintaining relationships with Lionsgate’s streaming partners.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team in day-to-day operations with international partners throughout sales life cycle including, communicating title availability, contract negotiation, materials delivery monitoring, and financial reporting tracking
  • Create, maintain, analyze and update reports for AVOD/SVOD sales teams
  • Ingest partner selections in Lionsgate’s rights management system and update revenue information as it is received.
  • Collaborate with Sales Planning and Strategy to compile availability submissions and maintain partner-specific internal resources to drive decision-making
  • Maintain a deep understanding of individual AVOD and SVOD platforms; research programming/promotion; track how Lionsgate’s content is being placed and promoted
  • Liaise between various groups to establish strong inter-departmental communication ensuring all departments are in sync and working effectively and efficiently to move initiatives forward
  • This includes, but is not limited to, marketing, operations, legal, motion picture and television development/production, and subsidiary companies

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2+ years of related experience preferred
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to effectively communicate objectives or performance to executive stakeholders on behalf of the team
  • Resourceful and proactive in finding solutions to complex problems with the ability to communicate those solutions to executive leadership
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience in Excel and PowerPoint a must
