Looking for Tradespeople with various experiences below. Talent will be made up of everyday individuals who appear approachable and comfortable in their gear – and competent when handling their tools and equipment.
Looking for the following roles:

Salt Studios, our in-house production team is looking for a Senior Producer to join the team. The Senior Producer is primarily responsible for the successful execution of creative ideas for clients, working closely with internal agency teams (from Strategy, Accounts, Creative) to external suppliers (production vendors, production consultants, key partners & freelance resources). They have solid experience producing across the following platforms: Broadcast & TV, OLV, print, social and digital and can foster positive energy, manage expectations and work collaboratively to find creative solutions to problems that arise during the development of projects.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a mix of Broadcast & Digital productions
- Leading production schedules and on set team management/leadership
- Track and maintain project budgets and coordinate, plan and execute production schedules, shoots, and prep projects for post
- Manage production day to day, communications with suppliers/ agency teams/ clients/ vendors
- Manage deliverables & track project progress
- Collaborate with creative teams to elevate the creative concept by providing ideas, production solutions and options, relevant references, and to identify and mitigate risks to projects/ proactively problem solve
- Evaluate initial creative concepts and define deliverables
- Research and recommend best-in-class suppliers (production companies, directors, key partners, and freelance resources), negotiate fees/rates and identify and proactively mitigate risks to projects
- Build, maintain and update vendor contracts
- Manage insurance & legal paperwork
- Oversee key steps/phases during project development (Pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery)
- Keep Head of Studio informed of key developments with projects on an ongoing basis
- Project manage & produce post-production and delivery of final assets
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 5+ years’ experience in a production role at a creative agency, broadcaster, media agency or production company and diverse production experience
- Excellent Production Skills (Including line production experience)
- Excellent planning and project management skills
- Fluent in Excel & Powerpoint
- Ability to use experience and production expertise to problem solve in real time
- Collaborative and strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in the development of content (film, print, photography, etc.), digital (web, mobile, social, etc.) and experiential (events, activation, etc.) projects.
- Strong knowledge of top tier suppliers/ good relationships with key contacts in North America and negotiation skills (experience working with cost consultants)
- Strong technical knowledge of production
- Strong knowledge of talent union requirements/ legal considerations
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (an asset)

Art Director
The Art Director is responsible for leading the creation and development of visuals across a variety of channels including digital, traditional, CRM, social and brand identity. Reporting to the Head of Art and Chief Creative Officer, the Art Director works closely with Copywriters, Designers, and/or other Art Directors, and other members of both the creative department and the larger PUBLIC group.
Description
As an Art Director, you work with Creative Directors, Copywriters and Designers to develop concepts for different client projects across a variety of channels. You produce the look and feel of concepts and content, create storyboards and concept boards, prepare presentations, and source and design artwork for projects that require visuals. You may also be asked to lead and develop designs independently.
This role involves interpreting briefs, working on tight deadlines, and presenting creative designs and ideas to clients. After the work is presented, you are responsible for the production of the work, including managing client and internal feedback and working with external partners to get the work completed on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading concepts and communicating ideas
- Producing design, artwork and/or imagery suitable for a variety of channels

Key Skills

- A strategic mindset, an innate ability to problem solve, resilience and energy
- Excellence in Adobe InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator
- Proficiency or excellence in Animation (i.e. After Effects), Video Editing (i.e. Premiere/Final Cut Pro) or 3D modeling software is considered a plus.
- Diverse experience in long-form content or editorial design is also a plus.
