Alchemy is working alongside a New York Gallery, who are looking to hire an experienced Gallery Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Gallery Director with the smooth running of the Gallery.
• Assist with Gallery administration tasks when required.
• Manage the galleries inventory database and complete the cataloguing and labelling of artworks.
• Complete all condition reports, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with international and domestic shipping of art in time for exhibitions, loans, sales and fairs.
• Updating the galleries system with documents and shipment records.
• Assist with the storage of the artwork and corresponding documents.
• Support the Gallery in organising the framing and conservation of the artworks.
• Carrying out photography of artworks.

Required Skills:

• Experience of working in a Gallery or similar organisation is essential.
• Confident administrator and ability to balance multiple tasks at once.
• Previous inventory management and cataloguing skills.
• Condition reporting and artwork labelling abilities.
• Experience with photography is beneficial for this role.
• Excellent written and communication skills.

Seeking Talent for GEICO – Richmond VA – SAG LBDW – 6/15 and 6/16

Seeking talent for the upcoming GEICO project in Richmond VA.  This is a SAG LBDW project.  Here are the terms of the offer and the talent needed:

Shoot dates:  Thursday 6/15 or Friday 6/16 – though payment is for up to 8 hours, session will not exceed 6 hours of work from arrival to departure.  

OCP Offers below would include talent bringing three wardrobe options/accessories.

Locations:  

We will shoot in Richmond, or, along the James River within the Richmond vicinity.  NOTE – Talent will not be paid travel time, mileage etc.  All talent will be working as a local.

Compensation: Offering the following under the SAG Low Budget Digital Waiver (must be SAG or SAG Eligible)

Travel/Lodging:  Working local- no travel should be needed

Conflicts:  Non-exclusive

OCP: 

Offering Session $500 for 8-hour session, $500 for use for one year and $200 for unlimited edits + 20% agent fee if applicable.  

Usage for OCP’s: One (1) year from session date. Internet including social media and/or New Media. Not for Broadcast.

• African American female (but open to ethnicity and gender) in her mid 40s – set on a Karaoke stage pretending to be about to sing, but she never does, she just sways like she’s about to start singing, confidently swaying to the beat ready to slay the vocals someday. Does not need to sing. She has excellent stage presence and is not the least bit self-conscious about this instrumental track. Looking for grounded comedic performances. See audition details below.

ROCK PAPER SCISSORS GAME: OCP

• Caucasian male (but open to ethnicity and gender) in his 60s – playing the game “Rock, Paper, Scissors”. He’s a total pro at this. He humble and casually confident about it, not rubbing it in. Like a grandpa who loves to play with his grandkids, gentle, sweet, but loves winning. Long lanky arms, or small arms, hands, and or digits is a great bit of character that can make this funnier. Looking for grounded comedic performances.  See audition details below.

THEREMIN PLAYER: OCP

• Caucasian woman (but open to ethnicity and gender) in her 30s. Ideally, they know how to play the theremin. She is extremely self-serious, the theremin isn’t a joke to her, even though the sounds she is producing in this situation are strange, and frankly, very funny. It’s as if she is hosting her own YouTube episode or performing a Concert, everything about her is buttoned up and professional. Fee includes the use of their theremin instrument set up.  See audition details below.

On-Camera Lead Fitness Trainer Casting Call Brief

A major fitness brand is looking for fitness instructors with experience in leading group fitness classes or on-camera workouts to join our team. The workouts will range from 2–30 minutes each to be released on a subscription based app. Our main focuses will be on bodyweight strength training, cardio, and mobility/stretching, but all exercise disciplines and body types are welcome and will be considered.

• Previous on-camera experience is a bonus, but not required
• 10 English speaking trainers (open to all ethnicities)

Requirements:

• Have experience in group exercise instruction or previous on-camera or live performance experience (live workouts, theater, studio acting, commercials, etc.)
• Able to travel to San Francisco and commit to up to 5 days for filming, rehearsals, and practice.
• Be coachable, have an understanding of the exercise they are performing, and be able to coach and talk about moves without the need to be fed lines
• Complete 2-30 minute workouts while maintaining the stamina to talk and exercise simultaneously

Preferred Qualities:

• Be certified by a nationally recognized organization (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, ISSA, Yoga Alliance, etc.)
• Specialty in a specific exercise category (Kettlebell, yoga, cycling, mobility, older adult work outs, etc.)
• Social media reach or following is not required, but considered
• Be able to write or create their own workouts. These workouts must be scalable, include modifications (progressions and regressions) where appropriate, and be in line with the brand philosophies
