Job Description
A maternal health PSA campaign is seeking a real Black or Latina mother and her child, up to age 5, for a testimonial-style speaking role filming in Austin, Texas. The mother must have personally experienced serious postpartum health concerns or urgent maternal warning signs during pregnancy or within the year after giving birth. Selected talent will share their real-life experience on camera to help raise awareness about potentially life-threatening pregnancy and postpartum complications.
Job Responsibilities
- Appear with your child in a maternal health PSA campaign.
- Share your personal postpartum or pregnancy health experience in a testimonial-style format.
- Speak naturally and authentically about maternal warning signs and complications.
- Follow interview and production direction while remaining true to your experience.
- Help communicate an important maternal health awareness message.
Requirements
- Must be a real mother with a child up to age 5.
- Seeking Black or Latina mothers.
- Must have personally experienced significant postpartum or pregnancy-related health concerns.
- Relevant experiences may include swelling of the feet or hands, persistent headaches with vision changes, dizziness, trouble breathing, or other serious maternal complications.
- Must be comfortable discussing personal experiences on camera.
- Must be able to work in Austin, Texas.
Compensation
- $2,500 for the mother and child combination.

- Must have later been diagnosed with a serious or life-threatening pregnancy-related complication, such as severe preeclampsia, stroke, or blood clots.
