Job Description
A short narrative drama film is casting multiple roles for a story centered on mental health, friendship, and a therapist’s perspective as a young man’s condition escalates. This project is seeking actors who can deliver grounded, emotionally honest performances in intense scenes. The production is casting locally in Columbus, Ohio and will provide IMDb credit.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform scripted scenes for a dramatic short film with emotionally intense subject matter.

  • Take direction and collaborate with the director and cast for character authenticity.

  • Participate in rehearsals, filming, and potential callbacks as needed.

  • For supporting/day player roles, deliver strong, natural reactions and believable presence on camera.

Requirements

  • Roles available include:

    • Frank (Lead, 20s–30s): Overwhelmed young person dealing with a best friend’s stability and collapse; emotionally driven role.

    • Adrian (Lead, 20s–30s): Sensitive, anxious, experiencing auditory hallucinations and psychological decline; strong emotional performance required.

    • Dr. Fritz (Supporting, 50s–70s): Older therapist masking detachment behind calm clinical presence.

    • Psychiatrist (Supporting, 30s–60s): Professional, composed, and methodical presence.

    • Admin Assistant (Day Player, 20s–50s): Brief role reacting during a confrontation scene.

    • Client/Patient (Day Player, 20s–30s): Appears during a pivotal outburst scene.

    • Frank’s Mother (Day Player, 50s–60s, Female): Grounding and comforting presence for Frank.

    • Young Frank (Day Player, ages 5–10): Flashback scene; acting experience not required.

    • Extras (All ages): Needed for funeral and therapist office scenes.

Job Description
Casting real parents with babies for an upcoming Fisher-Price commercial filming in Columbus, Ohio. Production is seeking families with babies ages 3–14 months to demonstrate natural interactions, playtime moments, and developmental milestones. Each selected family will receive a session fee, and additional usage fees will be paid to those featured in the final edit. Travel reimbursement may be provided for nearby out-of-town families driving in.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in a commercial shoot showcasing real parent-child interactions

  • Follow simple direction to demonstrate natural playtime activities

  • Engage with age-appropriate toys (tummy time toys, play gyms, keyboards, etc.)

  • Ensure baby is comfortable, safe, and supported during filming

  • Bring genuine connection and warmth to camera

Requirements

  • Real parents in their 20s–40s with babies ages 3–14 months

  • Must be comfortable on camera

  • Must live close enough to drive to Columbus (no airfare provided)

Tummy Time (3–6 months + parent)
