Department Summary

The Creative Solutions department provides a crucial service to the commercial teams allowing them to generate revenue across all Future brands. Our Ideation team provides innovative sales packages and pitching options, and our Production team translates those ideas and produces content that deliver above expectations. The team works across a wide range of projects such as video productions, online content marketing, digital advertising and print and we coordinate with internal departments and third party suppliers to put it all together. Job Summary & Purpose

Using your creative thinking, superior organisational, time management and communication skills you will be responsible for the smooth delivery of projects, big and small. From the moment we receive the brief you will become the point of contact for the client and responsible for distilling that brief into a project plan with a clear set of deliverables. From small studio shoots to large location shoots you will need to put together a team of content creators to deliver on our idea and produce engaging and high quality content that will be distributed across the Future brands.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Capture the scope and spec of work at briefing point and outline any bottle necks, risks or threats to project delivery.
  • You will work across internal and external teams so being able to collaborate and build relationships with a range of different people is essential.
  • Put together a crew of talented people from photographers, script writers or influencers to deliver content that is on brief and delivers to the clients objectives.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders throughout the lifespan of the project. Keeping all teams working in alignment with each other. Being the linchpin that is needed to keep projects on track.
  • Manage a range of complex projects with multi channel deliverables.
  • Organise all pre-production requirements such as call sheets, permit application, insurance, talent contracts, IP contracts, mood boards, script creation, freelancer booking etc.
  • Pre-sale you will be working with commercial teams and internal planning teams to prepare budgets and costing sheets for bids going to market.
  • Post sale, you will be working with internal project management teams to ensure that the assets you create arrive with the PM on time so that they can deliver on their part of the project.

Requirements

Essential skills and experience

  • Demonstrable experience with content creation in both video and photography.
  • Experience of events / experiential / online streaming
  • Project management skills with a knowledge of a project management process or methodology
  • Knowledge of marketing products, including print, digital, social, newsletters, events etc.
  • The ability to think creatively to translate a creative idea in to something that can be produced for the budget and time constraints without compromising the integrity of the initial idea.
  • Ability to track and manage projects within the agreed budget
  • Campaign reporting, with an ability to write reports for an internal and external audience
  • Client facing
  • Strong customer services skills
  • Experience of commissioning freelance work and an understanding of the contractual and legal requirements of the industry.

The Job
Rescue is looking for an experienced Influencer and Partnership Manager to focus on forming essential partnerships with influencers in the early childhood development space, as well as leverage existing community relationships across California to grow a unified statewide brand. This role will serve to increase awareness of California’s early childhood development messages amongst new and low-income parents, develop engaging, experiential influencer/parent-focused events, and will assist in influencer and partnership growth efforts. As an on-the-ground representative for the brand, the Influencer and Partnership Manager plays a crucial role in elevating the messages and resources of the California-focused early childhood development brand.
Day-to-Day Activities:
Brand Experience and Support
  • Serve as the California early childhood development brand expert
  • Create, plan, and execute unique event experiences to engage Influencers and motivate parents to support the development of their young children
  • Collaborate with Campaign Lead to create, plan, and execute unique Cultural Influencer and/or Brand Ambassador experiences (ex. Meetups, Sponsorships, Events)
  • Work with Lead to Identify event opportunities and new ways to activate at them – including venue recruitment, contracts, security, talent, ECD integration and more

  • Oversee maintenance of audio, lighting, backline, video systems advising on repairs when needed
  • Responsible for safe and consistent operation of all equipment
  • Attends production and operations meeting as outlined by the GM
  • Maintain a detailed and thorough filing system of all “past show” files on the shared drive
  • Maintain accurate vendor records, following Purchase Ordering Systems

Role Purpose:
The Director is responsible for all aspects of physical production in a deadline-oriented news-based environment. The position is focused on making sure our productions’ schedules, budgets, and workflows are aligned. The Director partners with both internal and external clients to develop production budgets/plans and then oversee the execution of the approved plans. The Director works with multiple creative personalities and will be expected to remain cool under daily deadline pressure, while managing several ongoing productions. The Director is also be responsible for guaranteeing day-to-day production operations are well-managed and on track. Position regularly reports into the VP of Production Management & Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Production Budgeting: Planning, coordination, and preparation of production budgets with Creative Executives, Talent/Casting, Business & Legal Affairs, Finance and HR. Budgets should meet creative/operational/resource expectations and financial objectives. Partner with producers to develop production plans in accordance with budget. Review & evaluate prepared and submitted budgets. Ensure weekly cost reports are generated and reviewed for accuracy before being sent to senior management. Partner with production accounting team to make sure invoices and payments are processed in a timely manner. Create, implement, and maintain consistent standards for tracking and reporting procedures and policies for all content deliverables.
  • Production Management: Oversee production related activities on daily series to ensure productions are within budget parameters and consistent with creative expectations. Coordinate with Editorial, Business Affairs, Production Finance, Legal, HR and Creative Brand partners. Monitor production expenditures for accuracy, consistency and reasonableness. Stay up to date on various freelance crewing, vendors, and production technology. Perform overall production management role on all assigned projects, including assessment of production budget and schedule. Develop and manage internal timelines and workflows to guarantee timely delivery of shows.
  • Risk Management, Safety & Compliance: Partner with Environmental Health & Safety to stay current on Covid safety & compliance protocols and make sure these are communicated to production teams. Oversee Covid coordinator supporting Covid testing and scheduling. Ensure production policies and procedures (HR, Legal, Finance, EHS related) are being adhered to and continually update internal production manuals. Have a familiarity with union/guild agreements and rules applicable to our productions and communicate issues to production teams. Liaise closely with Production and Legal on risk management and all practical aspects of production
  • Production Administration: Ensure Agreements are signed; Payroll is set-up & completed with various payroll services. Make sure permits & insurance documents are processed and secured when needed for field productions. Review & approve weekly timecards for talent and others. Oversee Production Coordinators and confirm they are supported and able to complete assignments & requests.
  • Communication: Maintain consistent and professional communication across all clients and departments including Executive Producers, Talent, Marketing/Branded, Finance and Human Resources .

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge and a strong interest in studio-based productions
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be detail oriented.
  • Must be proactive and a go getter, can work as a team member and autonomously at the same time
  • Must have at least 10 yrs. experience within a studio/network/production environment
  • Experience as a Line Producer & Production Manager required
