Job Description
A paid research project is seeking background participants to take part in a controlled recording session for a security software study. The project involves recreating everyday movement scenarios inside a school setting to help develop technology designed to distinguish people from objects in high-risk environments such as schools, retail spaces, and hospitals. Recordings are strictly for internal research use only and will not be publicly released. Participants will only be needed for one scheduled day.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in recorded movement scenarios inside a classroom setting

• Perform repetitive walking, standing, and positioning as directed

• Follow instructions from the research and production team

• Maintain professionalism throughout the session

Requirements

• Ages 18 and older

• Open to all body types, shapes, and sizes

• Must be local to the Pittsburgh area

• Must have reliable transportation to the filming location

• Comfortable with extended periods of walking and standing

• Accurate height and weight information required for research purposes

• Prior participation in a similar April 2025 project does not disqualify you

Compensation

• $100 for a 4-hour session

• $150 for a 6-hour session

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Participate as an extra in recorded research scenarios inside a school setting

• Follow direction closely during multiple controlled scenario setups

• Provide accurate height and weight information for research representation

• Remain professional and cooperative during the full recording window

• Be comfortable holding unloaded airsoft firearms during testing (safety supervised)

Requirements

• Ages 18+

• All shapes and sizes encouraged

• Must be local to the Pittsburgh area and have reliable transportation

Hockey Players for National Commercial (Non-Union)

Job Description
Real hockey players are needed for a national commercial filming in the Northern Pittsburgh area. This is a paid, non-union on-camera opportunity for athletic talent who can bring authentic gameplay energy and look camera-ready in full gear. Players must be local to the Pittsburgh region, have their own equipment, and be available to work a full shoot day with flexibility to stay longer if needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear on camera as a real hockey player in a national commercial

• Arrive in full uniform with personal equipment ready for filming

• Follow direction from the production team for positioning, timing, and action

• Maintain continuity and performance consistency throughout the shoot

• Remain professional, punctual, and prepared for a potentially extended day

Requirements

• Male talent, mid-20s to early 30s

• Caucasian talent with dark hair

• One role needs a beard; one role needs a clean-shaven look

• Must be a real hockey player with verifiable experience

• Must have own hockey equipment and uniform

• Must live in the Pittsburgh region (local hire)

• Must be able to work with flexible hours on the shoot day

Compensation

• $350 flat rate (non-union)

• Additional agency fee may apply if represented
