MALE Body Double Talent (2) Needed – Monday, Nov 15
Location Frederick, MD

Rocket Media Group is looking for 2 actors for the roles of body doubles for a safety training video shoot happening in Frederick, MD on Monday. No stunts are required. 
 
Soldier 1: African American MALE, approximately 27 years old. Medium complexion. Approximate height of 5′ 11″ with an athletic build.  We will be shooting these scenes from 9 pm to 3 pm.
 
Soldier 2: Hispanic MALE, approximately 25 years old. Medium complexion with black hair. Approximate height of 5′ 8″ with an athletic build. We will be shooting these scenes from 3 pm to 10 pm.
 
The rate for each role is $225.00.

About the Role

Sound Off is looking for an Executive Producer with great leadership abilities and a softness to connect with our growing and diverse team of talent. You will partner closely with our head of marketing and our sales team to push growth, land new business while nurturing our existing clients and strategizing for ways to help clients both new and old, achieve goals in areas of impact storytelling and campaign strategy. You don’t rattle easily and can light paths for our team in variable production environments. You are great with people and make our team of creatives and our clients feel taken care of every step of the way.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with filmmakers, brands and non-profits to pitch, plan and produce dynamic, and, often impact-driven, stories.
  • Plan and pitch for new projects by fielding briefs/ RFPs, and with our existing team and some external partners, you pave a path for our team to walk down.
  • Set course on all production projects, You are selective in who to engaging necessary members of our creative team from early stages of development in addition to vendors, to make sure each project is a success
  • Manage and help improve pre-bid process, currently consisting of rough workback schedule, costs, and possible directors
  • Prepare bid packages in AICP format, with some exceptions depending on the partner
  • Enter final bids in our internal form and set the path for an AiO
  • Develop a plan for each project and onboard/ kick off each project in a way that makes everyone feel adequately prepared to do their best work. Ultimately, it is your job to ensure our projects deliver smoothly, on time, and within budget and that people feel valued through the course of the process
  • Be an ally to our clients while being a protector of our teams. Work closely with clients each step of the way. Effective client management is one of the most vital responsibilities of the EP>
  • Manage and nurture a growing production team. Provide clear responsibilities, be goal-oriented, and an ally to each through their personal career development – we want a den keeper for our people on productions, a biggest cheerleader for each person’s success!
  • Work on planning with the producer on each project to build a running budget and build milestone check ins to guarantee that our P&L on each project will be protected. Profit on projects is your responsibility
  • Create a working style that supports collaboration over different timezones and in remote settings
  • Seek out opportunities to improve current systems and implement new processes that can support better and more efficient work
  •  Manage vendors, contractors, and all players in production
  • Prioritize on-set teams well-being and safety above making a healthy profit
  • Lead the teams, supporting prioritization, pace setting, goal setting, and abiding to deadlines
  • Work with our operations team and founder to build quarterly projections that showcase quarterly anticipated profit from the projects you manage
  • Help us achieve our goal of becoming one of AdAge’s Best Places to Work through your approach to people and projects

Requirements

  • You like people. Are kind. And are a citizen of the world with a broad perspective and an open mind that allows you to work with our teams all over the world
  • We are looking for someone who can successfully work across teams, time zones and technologies. We are hoping to hire in LA but can make an exception for the right person
  • You need evident management skills and some experience as an EP, with at least 5-7 years as a senior producer with large agency and brand and creative talent experience.
  • Global documentary experience a plus as our secret sauce is our ability to turn international projects quickly with trusted vendors in variable environments
  • You are adept at working with the best in biz agencies and clients, who look to you for best practices, expertise and leadership on how to make their dreams a reality
  • Comfortable in budgeting softwares, Slack, Google Drive and Dropbox and collaborative tech including Asana and Salesforce
  • Post production experience and experience pushing projects through every phase of production
  • You share our love of film! You believe in the power of impact and advocacy work – you understand and believe in our ethos and driving principles!
  • You are an incredible communicator and leader. You take the work seriously but not yourself.
  • Proactive, organized, and energetic self-starter, able to prioritize and deliver under pressure

CASTING CALL – ALCOHOL BRAND – FILMING IN SYDNEY

We’re looking to cast experienced tandem surfers and synchronized swimmers to feature in an alcohol advertisement. 

ALL TALENT MUST BE 25+ 

1. TANDEM SURFERS

  • Looking for tandem surfers with the strength to lift another person onto their shoulders while riding a wave

2. SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMERS

SHOOT DATE: 30th of November + 1st of December 2021 (1 x 10 hr shoot day)

Position Summary

DreamWorks Animation Television is seeking a Visual Development Artist with a diverse set of skills to join our team on an unannounced 2D – action/comedy show. The candidate should demonstrate a strong design and/or paint foundation to execute on the creative vision of the series. This exciting new opportunity is based in Glendale, California and is covered by the Animation Guild.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • SPECIFIC TO DESIGN: Design and paint environments/characters/props/vehicles under the direction of the Creative Leadership of the series
  • SPECIFIC TO 2D ENVIRONMENT TURNS ONLY: Create designs for environments, structures and props – including turns as required
  • SPECIFIC TO 2D CHARACTER TURNS: Create designs for characters/vehicles/props – including turns as required
  • SPECIFIC TO DESIGN: Generate rough concepts to explore new designs within the style of the show
  • SPECIFIC TO DESIGN: When requested, create and present innovative ideas to enhance visual concepts and designs
  • SPECIFIC TO PAINTING: Knowledge of and ability to integrate fundamental painting techniques and tools into artwork
  • REMOVE FOR ORTHOS SPECIFIC JOBS: Superior eye and ability to translate a thorough understanding of color, composition, detail, texture and lighting into designs and/or paintings
  • Willingness to take feedback and rework material while maintaining a fresh perspective
  • Communicate progress of work to appropriate production staff and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Ensure all artwork is properly backed up, organized and stored appropriately
  • Ensure all shipping materials are prepared and ready on time

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Thorough design foundation including knowledge of: perspective, composition, painting, lighting and color theory
  • Advanced knowledge of Photoshop
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Is a team player, who genuinely enjoys working with others
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Works well in a fast paced production environment under pressure

Desired Characteristics

  • At least 3 years of experience in television animation, feature animation and/or video games
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of Illustrator is a plus
  • Portfolio that demonstrates seasoned design and painting skills
