A comedy showcase team is now accepting submissions from stand-up comedians and comedy acts for upcoming opportunities. This is a great fit for performers looking to join a growing roster, get considered for future bookings, and be part of a curated comedy community. If you have strong material, stage presence, and a tape that represents your best work, submit to be reviewed for 2026 performance opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Submit a performance tape showcasing your strongest material

• Provide a short bio and headshot for roster consideration

• Be available for potential booking inquiries and show scheduling

• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and audience-ready material

• For show pitches, share a clear concept and relevant background details

Requirements

• Stand-up comedians and comedy acts encouraged to apply

• Must have a headshot and short bio

• Must have a current performance tape (required)

• If pitching a show, include: concept, relevant details, past successes, and a proposed budget

Compensation

• Paid performance opportunities may be available depending on booking (details provided upon selection)

SEEKING COLLABORATORS AND CONTENT – FUNDING AVAILABLE
Misery Loves Co., a production company, is currently seeking to increase its output by offering full or partial funding for original, short-form, stand-alone content suitable for YouTube, IG, TickTock, etc. as well as festival recognition.
As a published writer and actor with well-over 100 IMDB credits, I am also seeking to collaborate on such content where possible.
All accepted projects will be promoted by a social media manager.
Ideally, content should be provocative/timely/humorous.
However, open to work of any tone that has the potential to go viral or be festival-worthy.
Will consider any genre: narrative, reality, documentary, animation, etc.
.All proposals for funding only must be ready-to-shoot, with a
– completed script
– detailed budget of $5K or less (preference will be given to lower budgets)
– crew/equipment in place (once funding is provided)
