Season 3 of “The Pitt” is seeking paid non-union background actors for scenes filming with the Pittsburgh unit in the Greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. The production is looking for a wide variety of talent to portray medical professionals, patients, visitors, pedestrians, construction workers, city workers, police types, bureau types, urban residents, and other everyday characters. Most roles are for adults ages 18 and older, with both single-day and multiple-day opportunities available.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray assigned background characters in scenes for “The Pitt” Season 3.
• Perform naturally as doctors, nurses, medical technicians, EMTs, patients, visitors, pedestrians, workers, residents, or other assigned characters.
• Follow direction from the production and assistant directing teams.
• Maintain character appearance and continuity throughout filming.
• Work outdoors when required for selected scenes.
• Work professionally and cooperatively with cast, crew, and fellow background actors.

Requirements

• Most roles are for talent ages 18 and older.
• Must be able to work in the Greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.
• Roles include doctor, nurse, medical technician, EMT, patient, visitor, pedestrian, construction worker, city worker, police type, bureau type, resident, and other background characters.
• Talent with bicycles, electric scooters, dogs, jogging experience, or qualifying vehicles may be considered for specific scenes.
• Precision drivers are also being sought.
• City worker, police, and bureau roles are seeking male talent who can be clean-shaven if selected and have no visible face or neck tattoos.
• Resident roles are seeking a wide range of ages, body types, ethnicities, and distinctive everyday appearances.
• Weathered, rugged, natural, unpolished, and character-driven looks are encouraged for resident roles.
• Residents must be comfortable filming outdoors during winter conditions and wearing layered, weathered wardrobe.

Compensation

• $250 for 12 hours.
• Overtime applies after 12 hours
