Movie Casting PGH is seeking background actors to portray steel mill workers for a project filming in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This casting is for replacement roles and includes opportunities for talent with and without vehicles. The production is looking for authentic, working-class looks to fit the environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray steel mill workers in background scenes
- Follow direction from the production team
- Arrive on time for assigned report times
- Maintain continuity and professionalism on set
Roles Available
- Steel Mill Workers with Cars (any gender, any ethnicity)
- Steel Mill Workers without Cars – Male (any ethnicity)
- Steel Mill Workers without Cars – Female (any ethnicity, rugged/working-class look preferred)
Requirements
- Open to all genders and ethnicities (depending on role)
- Must have a realistic, working-class appearance
- Vehicles (if applicable) cannot be white, red, or neon
- Must be local to Pittsburgh, PA or able to work as a local hire
- Must not have previously worked in prison scenes or been featured elsewhere in the project
- Must provide a current photo
Compensation
- $250 for 12 hours
- Additional $30 if your car is used on camera
Girls for Film Scene and Featured Role
Job Description
A film production in the Pittsburgh area is casting young girls for a post-communion scene, along with one featured role. This project is seeking natural, expressive children who can bring authenticity to a church exit scene, as well as a standout personality for a featured part. Casting directors are looking for both traditional and more modern, sporty looks to reflect a range of characters.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray a child exiting a church in a background scene
- Follow direction from the production team during filming
- Participate in a featured role if selected
- Maintain natural behavior and presence on camera
- Be prepared for a full day of filming
Requirements
- Female, ages 7–9
- Open to all ethnicities
- Comfortable on camera and able to take direction
- For background roles: access to a white communion dress is a plus
- For featured role: sporty, natural look with confident personality
- Able to work in Pittsburgh, PA as a local hire
Compensation
- Background role: $250 for 12 hours
- Featured role: $265 for 12 hours
Hispanic/Latino Male Inmate Extras for TV Series
Job Description
Casting Hispanic/Latino male extras to portray inmate roles in a television production filming in Pittsburgh. This is a great opportunity for new talent who have not previously worked in this specific role on the show. Scenes will require authentic performances that contribute to realistic prison environments.
