Shaheen Baig Casting & Element Pictures are searching for confident, brilliant young people to play roles in an upcoming Shane Meadows drama series set in Yorkshire.

• Character Brief: Boys & Girls – Aged 5 – 16 years old / All ethnicities

We are specifically looking for kids in Yorkshire and ideally based in the following areas: Halifax, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Heptonstall & Hebden Bridge

No previous acting experience necessary – Just enthusiasm and interest. Please not if you are successful this role will be paid.

We are seeking actors to perform in Joffery!, an original parody of A Song of Ice and Fire re-imagined as a traditional pantomime as told by King Joffrey Baratheon.

Performance dates at the Lion and Unicorn Camden 2nd-3rd August and at The Space UK Edinburgh from the 15th-29th August. Applicants must be over the age of 18 and have access to London for rehearsals.

This is an unpaid opportunity joining an emerging company for this production, however in the case of profit, these will be shared amongst the company. Rehearsals will be organised in London in relation to cast availability. 

Cersei – Pantomime Dame:
Cersei is the mother of the principle boy Joffrey but is often distracted by her penchant for bearded fat men. Saucy and funny this role requires a lot of enthusiasm and good audience
communication skills. For male actors. 

Littlefinger – Dastardly Sidekick:

Littlefinger the sidekick of the dastardly villain Ned stark. Plagued by little fingers, little finger struggles to perform basically daily tasks such as holding spoons. This is a comedic role that requires understanding of comedic timing and physical humour.

Can be played by any gender.

Bran/ Guard 1&2/ Tyrion:

Female Actor to play multiple roles feeding into a meta narrative of being promised a larger singular role in the story. This part requires a lot of audience interaction, improvisation skills and ability to do a Scottish accent. Comedy experience preferable.

and on the outside, not bothered by anything. Inside though? He’s bothered, oh god is he bothered.
Frank is delicate, anxious and a chronic over-thinker. He has a terrible temper and pitifully low self
esteem. If he were an animal, he’d be one of those tomcats with big balls that’s still afraid of loud noises 

We are looking for real couples to tell us their love stories on a new online comedy show. On this show, we follow two well known comedy/reality stars, as they chat to real couples and find out about the journey of their love life.
We are looking specifically for couples whose love stories might not always have been given a platform, these could be couples from the LGBTQ community, they could be interracial couples or even been apart of an arranged marriage. But the possibilities are endless!
The shoot is next Tuesday 9th in London (you do not need to be London based but we willing to travel in) so please urgently get in touch. All necessary covid precautions are being taken so the shoot can go ahead safely for cast and crew. Each couple will be paid £300 for 3 hours of their time.

I’m an award winning screenwriter, currently casting for a short virtual script (10-12mins), an uplifting comedy-drama on connectivity during the pandemic with an unlikely multicultural group that connect through their love of rock music.
